AS IF there are only 4 shopping days until Christmas...  WAH! If like me, you haven't finished your shopping yet and you've almost ran out of money, don't panic. Highstreet favourites New Look, have a fantastic (and affordable) Christmas Shop. I absolutely love buying gifts but after all the Christmas parties and festive meals, my bank balance is struggling.

Luckily for me, New Look's fantastic gift range is pretty darn affordable and there are so many SQUEE worthy items - so my gift giving skills don't need to suffer. If you have your own trendy sister-in-law to buy for, she'll probably love this Black Letter Light Box (£12.99) which is such a steal at just over a tenner. Isn't it adorable!?

Luxury Living with Rooi - Kate Spade Stationary

Tuesday 20 December 2016

One thing I think most of us look forward to at the end of a year is choosing a new diary and making an attempt to organise our lives a bit more as we move into the new year. Well this year I'm doing it in some major style, with these beautiful Kate Spade pieces from luxury living experts Rooi

Rooi personally source every product, asking themselves three questions before something makes the cut ...

Does it say something?
Does it delight the senses?
Does it make us happy?

If an item gets three yes's, it finds itself in stock at Rooi.com. This is actually the way I wish I could live my life, so I found this mantra quite inspirational before I even had a browse of the store, but oh my life, you guys need to go have a nose through it! There are some beautiful things up for grabs.

Anyhoo, back to my new pretty things! I chose the Kate Spade Large 17 Month Black Stripe Agenda (£31.95) and the Kate Spade Leopard Spiral Notebook (£11.95) and boy are they beautiful.

Kate Spade Stationary

First off, I ADORE the fact that I could choose this pattern combination. Monochrome stripes and leopard print have been my fave off the wall pattern combo in both fashion and interior design since forever, you'd be surprised how stylish they can look together despite the obvious clash.

The diary itself is VERY satisfying. It's a large, weighty spiral bound hardback book housing a selection of monthly and weekly spreads, note pages, laminated dividers and even a couple of plastic pockets. Each month begins with an inspirational, fun 'to do' list of themed activities, and there's tons of room for writing all your important day to day notes. I'm not pulling your leg here, this diary is so beautiful it makes me want to be a better person. I feel like it wants a more successful career and a stylish wardrobe for me, as I write my name in the 'This agenda belongs to ...' box. Everytime I open it, it whispers to me that 2017 is our year . . . As Mariah said, we belong together.

Kate Spade Stationary

The notebook is the perfect accompaniment to the agenda. It's really just a simple 112 lines page notebook for taking down thoughts and doodles of the day, but it's the hardback cover that had me at hello. T will understand me when I say that the pattern is THE perfect leopard print. Tis a rare thing to find and when you do, you want it replicated in everything you own. This thing is prettier than my entire face. And it's made of paper.

When Rooi chose these two pieces they got it so right.

Does it say something?
YES. They tell me that 2017 will be my best year yet, and I believe them!

Does it delight the senses?
When I look at them my pupils dilate, and yes, I may have sniffed them once or twice.

Does it make us happy?
Insanely. This love is serious.

My only issue is that I now want more. The note card sets make me want to be a more attentive far away friend, the sticky note sets produce a sudden need to furiously take the best phone messages of my life, and the bits and bobs holder makes me want to organise tiny things into tiny spaces! I love you Kate, be my friend?

For anyone thinking of indulging I highly recommend making a selection from the Kate Spade range at Rooi. Their delivery was free and super fast, within days of placing the order, and if you sign up to the newsletter you can get 10% off too - huzzah!

Thanks to Rooi for this new addiction.

One week to go! If like us you're still picking up those last minute stocking fillers for your special peeps, you should definitely check out New Look, who have really upped their gift shop game this year with a ton of covetable, affordable ideas for everyone!

I picked out a few things to show you, all priced at less than a tenner, but you'd never know it (the real secret to savvy gifting!).

First up are the cutest little bunny slippers for just a £5! They're super soft with gold glitter accents and a fluffy tail. They couldn't be more adorable tbh, but if your giftee is more into their homeware then why not drop your fiver on one of New Look's scented candles instead? This one is Tobacco Flower & Ginger, and smells like a yummy tropical cocktail. If you're looking for something for just a few pounds, the NL lip balms really look the part, but are only £1.99. I love the look of this 'Sweet Cream' one, it will pop so nicely on a dressing table! The rose gold life yo.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this dressing gown for £7.50! It's really soft and smooth, and the dark grey colour is really classy. I don't know anyone who can so no to new loungewear at Christmas time so this would be my number one pick. I also couldn't help picking up this perf LED hanging star for just £5.99. It needs 2 AAA batteries, so watch out for that, but it really is a fab little item and I've already used it in a couple of photo sesh's for the blog, so handy for your fellow blogger friends!

Ted & Muffy AW16: Standpoint Mid Calf Boots

Wednesday 30 November 2016

For me, one of the best things about autumn/winter is the outerwear (hello faux fur!) and cosy footwear. I love oversized fluffy coats - the bigger, the better - and I also adore leather boots. As I've got older, I've definitely started to invest in higher quality garments over fast fashion. I must admit I do still like a fast fashion binge every now and again but more often than not, I'll opt for a more expensive item if I know it'll last longer.

The fluffy jacket pictured below is by Australian brand Unreal Fur, who Jade and I interviewed a few years ago. I adore their ethos and their pieces are so beautiful and soft... Well worth the investment. I hardly ever buy faux leather footwear (unless I'm wearing trainers), I tend to opt for a designer boot in the colder months or a style from my favourite fairytale fitters, Ted & Muffy.

Sophisticated Star Wars Gifting with Pen Heaven - Cross Star Wars

Wednesday 23 November 2016

I'm a big Star Wars fan, but sometimes I long for some sophisticated merch amongst the fun, nerd out stuff, you know? So when passionate about pens store Pen Heaven got in touch to show me the amazing range of Cross Star Wars pens and journals I was like, oh HELL yes!

Cross Pens is regarded as America's oldest manufacturer of writing instruments, and the pioneer of the mechanical pencil. Their designs are inspired by Art Deco and Manhattan architecture with aerodynamic lines and gleaming finishes. So basically, they're just beautiful, timeless pieces and it's all kinds of awesome that they've teamed up with Star Wars to create this amazing themed range. The range starts at just £30 for a click ballpoint pen like this gold C3PO one I have here, to £55 for a ballpoint and journal set, rising through to £295 for a limited edition Townsend style rollerball pen. If I may venture an opinion, regardless of your budget these pieces make perfect gifts for any Star Wars fan, and I am in love with mine!

It writes like a dream in smooth gel ink, with a clean rollerball movement, and makes me want to take up letter writing just so I can use it more often! I love how stylish it looks (I totally wish I had bought one for my Star Wars themed wedding guest book!) and it totally looks the part on my desk.

This £30 slimline style is available in C3PO (as pictured here), Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, R2D2 and BB-8 and comes gift boxed and ready for gifting action. So if you know someone like me who is programmed for etiquette, not destruction, a Cross Star Wars pen from Pen Heaven is the perfect gift choice this Christmas!

AW16 Trend Watch: The Military Jacket

Monday 21 November 2016

One of the autumn/winter trends I'm most into this year is military inspired outerwear. The London catwalks were giving off huge military vibes at the beginning of the year, with capes and wool double-breasted jackets from Mulberry, to oversized military bomber jackets from Topshop. As fashion comes in cycles, I remember loving this trend the first time around... I wanted nothing more than a red military (or band) jacket. Sadly the perfect one sold out (and I often still search for it on eBay), but when I spotted this navy version from Joanna Hope at JD Williams, I knew this was my second chance at embracing this trend.

JD Williams wasn't a brand I was previously familiar with, I think initially they were targeting an older audience, however they have so many stylish, on trend pieces - they are clearly now trying to encourage a younger customer. They have an array of sequin numbers - ideal for party season - and an epic outerwear range

Joanna Hope Military Jacket
Stylish Band Jacket
Military Style Jacket Review

Jacket: Joanna Hope via JD Williams (c/o) - Dress: New Look - Tights: Wolford

This jacket is extremely versatile. It looks great with a basic tee, jeans and boots but at the weekend I wore it with a velour dress, black courts and statement Wolford tights (as seen on Katy Perry in her Killer Queen perfume imagery). I'm wearing the size 10 which still has room for layering. I've seen so many similar jackets on the high street but none of them compare to this one. The embroidery makes it that much more special, it's of higher quality and has a designer feel to it. If you're considering buying a jacket like this yourself, I recommend avoiding the mass produced versions you might find if you spend a bit less, because it's all about cost per wear. Am I right!?

I'm now looking for a longer military coat to keep me warm in the colder months ahead. Ideally it'll be khaki green, made from wool with loads of buttons. If you see anything, please let me know!

What's your favourite trend this season? Would you wear a military jacket?

CO By Andrew Collinge

Wednesday 16 November 2016

Rawr fave Andrew Collinge (we've met don't you know) has released a fab new range of styling products, CO by Andrew Collinge, and I got my paws on a few bits to try out. The new products were developed through collabs between Andrew and his fab MUA wife Liz, along with their clients and colleagues, so it's a fully rounded pro line consisting of 9 premium, unisex, results driven products and is exclusive to purchase from www.andrewcollinge.com

I tried the Hair Moisturiser (£8 for £150ml) for heat protection and shine, definitely something my long, constantly blow dried hair needs. It contains Argan Oils to smooth, detangle and hydrate. I noticed a distinct difference in the ends of my hair after blowing, I had that fabulous light as air whip flick going on and my split ends (big sorry to my stylist) looked minimal so that's a big positive for me.

Once dry, I always twist my hair into a bun and spritz a little hairspray on it because I like the tousled waves it sets into when I take it out 30 mins or so later. So this is where the Firm Hold Hairspray (£5.50 for 100ml) comes in, and oh my god it smells amazing! The scent is listed as Sandalwood, and it's so yummy and spicy, unlike any other hairspray I've ever tried. I only use a light spray but when I take out the bun there is no stickiness or crunchiness to the waves and my hair is bouncy and light - hurrah!

Finally I used the Definer (£10 for 100ml) to seal the style, rubbing a little between my fingers and palms and using it to lightly 'scrunch' (awful retro term there soz) the wavy ends to give them a glossy, tat free finish - beaut. I can see my man robbing this one too because again, the sandalwood scent is a bit of alright.

CO by Andrew Collinge review

I don't think you can go wrong with a proven professional line like Andrew Collinge. You can't argue with a fourth gen salon dynasty, plus my mum loved him and the Liverpool salon, so I followed on in her hairsteps by buying the stying products as soon as my pocket money allowed me to :)

I'll be trying the Invisible Dry Shampoo next (I rather unashamedly love the stuff and like to try every newbie that drops, and a premium one is the dream) and I think I'll get Tim the Clay as he has thick hair and this claims to prevent over-mattifying, which is a problem we are actually familiar with believe it or not!

In other hair news, I'm considering chopping my hair to my shoulders and getting a golden ombre. It's a big deal but I'm getting bored of my waist length braaaaahhhhhhnnnn hair now and fancy a change. I'll be taking objections and opinions until December so if you feel truly strongly about it please stand up.

Ted Baker Idacon Bag with House Of Fraser

Monday 14 November 2016

Isn't this just the most Christmassy bag you've ever seen? All that red glitter and gold is so festive! Good old Ted Baker, they know the gift game so well which is why the brand is one of my faves for present buying, I can already count at least 6 Ted gifts in my (yes, very organised) to wrap pile, and House Of Fraser has an amazing selection of TB goodies to choose from this season.

This is the Ted Baker Idacon Small Bowcon Bag in Burgundy, £35. For an extra tenner you can get the large version, but this size is perfect to use as an evening bag, and that glitter bow with gold accent really sets it off as a perfect party accessory! The colour is delicious, and flips between black, burgundy and red depending on the light. I also love the cut out detail on the top, very pretty. Inside is very spacious with a pale pink zip compartment for your important things. It's big enough to hold a large wallet, phone and A5 notebook if you're into that sort of thing, so it makes a really substantial designer gift for the TB fan in your life (who isn't though really?!).

Also available in a beautiful rose gold, shiny silver and feminine light pink, there's a style to suit everyone so this is a no brainer really. I love this burgundy because it will easily go with an LBD, a little jewel coloured sequin or velvet number, or even a smart tux. Basically, Ted rules and House Of Fraser is an enabler, but we love them for it!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

GANT Originals AW16: Air Chambray Shirt

Tuesday 8 November 2016

It seems this autumn I can't help but be drawn to shirts! Today I'm styling another classic shirt, this time from GANT - who like to consider themselves the champions of shirting. As mentioned in my previous style post, I love nothing more than styling shirts with jeans and trainers...Which is the look I've gone for today.

GANT's shirts are fantastic quality and have a lovely fit, this American brand dates back to 1949 but has European sophistication. What I love most about their shirts is how stylish they are! They have an impressive range of shirts and blouses, from classic Oxford shirts to bow blouses and boyfriend shirts - there's something to suit every woman's individual style or mood. GANT's latest women's collection has a feminine silhouette which draws inspiration from traditional men’s colours and patterns.

McArthurGlen & Brooks Brothers: The Iconic White Shirt

Wednesday 2 November 2016

A few weeks ago, I took a trip to my local McArthurGlen designer outlet to take part in an exciting blogger challenge! To tie in with the launch of Brooks Brothers' White Shirt bar, which toured the country in a six-wheeler American truck, I was given the task of styling one of their classic white shirts.

How do I usually wear a white shirt? With jeans, a fedora and some trainers. Standard. However, I wanted to think outside of the box and try something new for this challenge, so promised myself I'd be open minded while scouring the stores. I was armed with a gift card, selfie stick, snacks (for energy) and a swish notebook. Everything a woman needs for a successful shopping day.

The White Shirt bar was launched by Millie Mackintosh, who styled her own Brooks Brothers shirt with black skinnies. Of course the key ingredient to an effortless, white shirt ensemble is the perfect crisp shirt. I own 3 white shirts but none compare to the quality of this american classic. The brand is renown for high quality and timeless designs, was established in 1818 and has been worn by some of the most iconic people in history - from Roosevelt to Bristol's own Cary Grant!

Mermaid Tail Blanket With Octer

Tuesday 1 November 2016

We were recently introduced to Octer, a multi-channel shopping platform that allows you to search for items and view all possible retailers at the same time, so you can compare prices and variations all in one place without having a ton of tabs open. There's also an option to view only sale items, ideal if you're after a branded item that could be in multiple stores. It's nice to see your options next to each other and you can save them for later too. Octer is ideal for mobile shopping on phones and tablets, but also totally works on your desktop too.

I really like how Octer only uses top UK stores, meaning you won't get any dodgy items from eBay or pesky Asian sites skewing your search results. Soz aba me but if I want to search eBay for something then I will search eBay, you know? Google, I'm looking at you here. I'm looking for trustworthy stores with good quality and fast delivery, so Octer's search facility was perfect for me. After getting familiar with the site I decided to test it out on something I've wanted for a while but had no clue about how many retailers were potentially out there, a mermaid tail blanket!

I typed 'mermaid tail blanket' into the search feature and there they all were, mostly on Boohoo, but a couple on ASOS and New Look too (I did NOT know New Look sold them?!). Anyway, ASOS was the obvious choice for me despite being the most expensive. I'm a points collecting A-Lister and can't live without my unlimited next day delivery, so I clicked through to their Club L Night Mermaid Blanket in Green at £32, and ordered straight away.

And here it is! I have to say, the quality is top notch and I'm glad I 'shelled' (geddit?) a bit more out on it. Call me a snob and a half if you like, but the Boohoo styles looked a bit thin to me, more glitter and fun than warmth and substance. Anyhoo, what is it like? It's weighty, definitely a snuggler, though obviously there's only room for one person in it! Also, I was surprised that the fins were open, as in it's not a closed 'tube' that you slide into. On the plus side, this makes it easier to jump up and get another biscuit for your cup of tea without taking it off, but on the down side it means there is potential for cold feet. It totally looks the part though doesn't it? I can't imagine any girl not wanting one of these, it would be the perfect Christmas gift!

Isn't it beaut?! I can't recommend it enough, so if you're on the fence about buying one for yourself or as a gift I hope this review has pushed you off it! Why not do the same search I did on Octer? It's pretty addictive though, I put a few already purchased Christmas gifts through just to check they weren't cheaper elsewhere :S They weren't thank god, but it's a slippery slope so probably best to stick to future purchases! ;)

Menswear Monday - Cosying Up And Braving The Cold With Jacamo AW16

Monday 31 October 2016

My man Tim is the star of our Menswear Monday feature today, trying out a couple of pieces from Jacamo to add to his autumn/winter wardrobe. Jacamo was previously mostly known as a store for big n' tall guys, and while it still caters up to size 5XL, it does actually start at size S, so there really is something for everyone.

Now Tim isn't a small bloke by any means and usually takes a Large in most tops, but sometimes a size L in certain brands feels a little too slim fitting for his liking (it's not just us girls that feel like clothing manufacturers are scrimping on the material these days!) so we thought we'd take full advantage of Jacamo's famous sizing range and order a couple of styles in XL to see how they compared. Well, we can report that Jacamo definitely does not scrimp on material! If anything, these XL styles run a little bigger than Tim is used to, but maybe that says more about other brands than it does about Jacamo - mmhmm! Regardless, that extra inch or so just adds to the comfort and as both items could easily be worn with something else underneath then party on, fine holiday fun.

The first style was from the Jacamo men's jumpers selection, the Southbay Navy Fairisle Sweater is £25, runs up to 4XL and is and a nice take on the classic winter pattern. The material is not itchy (super important!) and while it is generously cut in the body, it fits really well in the shoulders and arms so you can forgive it for giving you a little extra room for food, perfect for Christmas dinner!

Jumper - c/o Jacamo

Jacamo mens jumpers

Jacamo mens jumpers

The second style we picked was from the Jacamo men's Hoodies was the Adidas Zone Hoodie, not cheap at £70 but definitely something Tim would wear forever and we are big believers in pounds per wear in this house! This style runs up to 3XL and Tim is wearing the XL. He could easily have sized down to L as the XL is pretty roomy, but this is primarily an outdoor piece, potentially to be used for hiking or running, so there's plenty of room here for layers. Tim loves the style of the high neck scarf like neckline, and the thumbholes in the cuffs which he looks for on pretty much every sporty bit of kit. He's really pleased with this one and I think I'll see this on him a lot!

Hoodie - c/o Jacamo

Jacamo men's hoodies

Jacamo men's hoodies

I don't think we'll just be walking past our local Jacamo stores anymore, it's definitely worth a look even if you're not what you might assume to be the ' typical Jacamo customer' because we think you'll find things have changed a bit! I was really surprised at the amount of brands that they stock too, including Adidas, French Connection, Original Penguin, Lacoste and Timberland, all with extended size ranges to what you might find in other stockists. It's also really handy to know about stores like Jacamo at this time of year when your sizing options can get very limited in the gift buying craziness. Try Jacamo peeps, it's not just for 7 foot guys with size 15 feet, it's for everyone!

Halloween With New Look - Scary Vs Chic!

Monday 24 October 2016

Halloween is just around the corner, so it was with wicked glee that we accepted the New Look Halloween Scary vs Chic challenge. NL have put together a fab collection of everyday pieces that can be whipped up into a Halloween look that you can break down and rewear after the big day, saving you spending out on a 'costume' you'll only wear once a year - genius. Check out this video on their blog for more Halloween ideas and for tips on styling bits up into Harley Quinn, Black Swan and Scream Queens looks amongst others. It's SO good, we were really surprised to see which pieces had been used!

Anyhoo, back to Scary vs Chic. I took Scary, being au fait with an eyeliner and partial to pvc, and picked out the Black Basic Witches Short Sleeve T-shirt (£7.99) and the Black Patent A-Line Skirt (£19.99), to channel my favourite witches from The Craft and American Horror Story - Coven! A lot of eyeshadow and Posh Spice/Wanda Maximoff finger wiggling later, and we have a pretty decent Halloween party look! It would also look really cute with a white shirt under the tee and some over the knee socks and heels, if you really wanted to go full Neve Campbell post superspell makeover.

Tribe Perfume

Monday 17 October 2016

I was SO excited when I found out that my nineties teen fragrance of choice, Tribe Perfume, had been revamped and re-released! Seriously, this scent pretty much accompanied every major moment in my teen girl life from around age 13 to 16, and even when it was discontinued and I moved on to a more 'grown up' fragrance, I still held fond memories of it for years to the point of feeling maje nostalgic excitement at the thought of smelling that fresh combination of fruits, flowers and vanilla again (yes, it was literally something for everyone) - squeeee!

What does the nineties mean to you? If you were actually around to see the original rise and fall of Take That, Chipie trainers, 'Babe' crop tees and Just Seventeen, you'll no doubt include Tribe Perfume in your list. It was a rite of passage, a nod to approaching womanhood in a time when fortnightly teen mags like J17, Mizz and More ruled your life (literally, with a Just Seventeen Yearbook which was your BIBLE), Kate Moss was so normal she could've been your best mate, getting plastic surgery at 17 just didn't compute, taking photos of you and your mates was done on an endless supply of disposable cameras, and famous people were actually famous for a reason. Life was good. I have such fond memories of the nineties for so many reasons, and they were all brought whizzing back with one spray of Tribe - hurrah!

Iron Fist My Little Pony Blouse With Spoiled Brat

So it's been a while, but I've been busy becoming MRS EGERTON! ;)

Anyhoo, despite being all grown up and married and such like, I still enjoy a bit of childhood nostalgia combined with some good old fashion fun so one of my first assignments post-single lady life is to show you this fab Iron Fist My Little Pony blouse from Spoiled Brat (£43.99). I've always liked a bit of Iron Fist, it's a fun brand and some of the designs they come out with are just inspired, with this blouse definitely planting it's hooves in that category! The colours are just amazing, so bright and cheery, and the pattern is of course, delightful. If you're a die hard Brony like me (I have a collection of Rainbow Dash dolls and watch Friendship Is Magic whenever I can), you have to have this. Everypony (yes I wore it to work!) who sees it can't help but get excited by the colours and the memories it brings on! The material is a slinky chiffon, but not too see through as you can see here because I only have a nude bra on underneath and it's invisible. You can't fault Iron Fist quality, it continues to be strong and worth every penny. I kept it simple here and paired it with double denim and pastel DM's, but it would look pretty darn cute tucked into a little A-Line skirt and some ankle boots if you prefer a girlier look. If you're looking for sizing info, I'm a UK12 and this is a size L. I probably could've swung the M but I'm a terror for sizing up and this is comfortable for me.

English weather is a strange thing. This week started off very HOT and ended with a bit of a chill in the air. Autumn is coming. Although I'm not quite ready to give up the mild temperatures just yet, I am ready to embrace autumn clothing. Hello knitwear!

I'm secretly excited about woolly hats, scarves and jumpers... I've already started thinking about new boots, winter coats and layers. Lots of layers. This past weekend was a mixture of sunny spells and a cool breeze, so I decided to ease myself into autumn with this snuggly Lilly Cocoon Cardigan from Sugarhill Boutique.

Funkin Cocktail Pina Colada Mixer Review

Yes I like Piña Coladas and getting caught in the raaain. I'm not much into health food but I am into champaaagne... ;)

Piña Colada is my favourite cocktail. It's probably everyone's favourite cocktail, right? First created in 1954 in Puerto Rico, this sweet, rum-based cocktail is simply delightful and my go-to when I hit the town. A little while back, Rawr faves Funkin' Cocktails sent me a surprise bundle to help me celebrate Piña Colada day. Those guys know me oh so well.

Spell and the Gypsy Collective: White Fringed Leather Jacket

Thursday 8 September 2016

When I was planning my wedding, I had visions of wearing a white fringed leather jacket over the top of my wedding dress, cowboy boots underneath and a white fedora. Turns out, pure white fedoras are extremely hard to come by and cowboy boots don't work when your dress has an endless amount of tulle. I did however, purchase my dream fringed leather jacket so I could wear it on the dance floor!

I've always adored Spell and the Gypsy Collective, so my wedding was the perfect excuse to splash out on this beautiful piece of lamb leather. It cost a small fortune (boy do I hate customs fees) but it was absolutely worth it.

Bristol Street Style: #ThisIsNewLook

Friday 2 September 2016

Happy Friday! Bristol is so beautiful in the summer. It's been a little while since I've taken outfit photos by the harbourside but I wanted to make the most of the summer sunshine before it disappears.

We recently collaborated with New Look on their exciting #ThisIsNewLook campaign and I was sent an outfit to style. Of course I chose this all black bardot/ripped jean ensemble! The campaign ties in with their new exciting hub where you can upload your photo via social media and share your New Look style inspiration with the world.

Men's Nike KD 8's Sneakers Review

Wednesday 24 August 2016

It's taken almost 12 years but I finally understand Sam's style. I'd happily pick out an outfit for him and be 80% sure he'd like it. Similar to me, he has a thing for statement sneakers so it's no surprise he was drawn to these Nike KD 8 trainers from Footlocker

We both love Nike trainers, they have the best fit and are really comfortable as they have dreamy cushioned soles. When he took them out of the box, I initially thought they were silver but they are actually more grey with a slight metallic finish. Footlocker is one of our preferred sports shops, I'll never forget going into a few stores in the US and being addressed as 'Boss'. That's right.

Cabot Circus: Summer Food Festival

Monday 22 August 2016

A few weeks back I attended the 'Summer of Food Festival' blogger Safari Supper Club dinner at Cabot Circus, where I was invited to enjoy a different course at three different restaurants, along with four other Bristol bloggers! Never one to turn down a free meal, I made my way to the Bristol shopping centre for good food, friendship and cocktails.
