Festival season is finally upon us! I love nothing more than listening to my favourite artists in the middle of a field wearing boho outfits, so I couldn't be more excited for 2016's UK festivals. Now my wedding is over, my festival wardrobe planning can begin.

Apart from Glastonbury, my other favourite festivals include Wireless and V Festival! I headed to V Festival last year for the first time and had the best experience EVER. I wasn't sure what to expect but it had such a chilled, relaxed vibe. It isn't as full on as Glasto which = cuter outfits (for sharing on Instagram and Facebook). Oh YAS.

La Redoute are currently running an exclusive blogger competition where one lucky winner can get their paws on a pair of tickets for this year's V Festival at Weston Park. I'm a huge fan of La Redoute (I've been wearing it since I was a kid) so I was absolutely game when their email hit my inbox. All you have to do is share your dream festival outfit to win.

So it's official, I'm married! Although we were engaged for about 2 years, the past few months have flown by. We said 'I do' last Monday at the Great Tythe Barn in the Cotswolds. It was a beautiful and sunny day - we couldn't have timed it more perfectly! Everything went smoothly & I was told by lots of guests it felt super chilled and we seemed calm... NAILED IT.

3 weeks before we got hitched, we headed to the Westonbirt Arboretum for our pre-wedding shoot. I took weeks months for us to decide on a wedding photographer but I'm sure most bloggers are the same. I spend all day looking at blogs so I have really high standards when it comes to photographers - ha! Thankfully, we absolutely lucked out by finding Rob Tarren.

As a firm devotee of another rather obvious make-up brush brand, I was intrigued when Blank Canvas Cosmetics got in touch to see if I fancied trying one of their top rated tools. The Blank Canvas F22 HD Dome Face Brush in Metallic Purple is £11.85, handmade, vegan and 100% cruelty free. The high quality synthetic fibre brush hairs are easy to clean and suitable for applying both liquid and powder cosmetics. In comparison to that other brand I mentioned earlier, the brush hairs do seem longer, softer and more dense, but I have only used it on powders, namely highlighters, because I've just got two new beauties and I thought they deserved a special brush of their own. Tara and I both adore Dr. PAWPAW balms, their Ultimate Red is never far from our lips, and now we can give our hair the PAWPAW treatment too with their new It Does It All 7 in 1 Hair Treatment Styler! 

It multi-tasks it's way through heat protection, reducing split ends, detangling, leave-in conditioning, smoothing, blowdrying and adding shine to hair, all in one handy bottle costing £12.99. 

And does it work? Well, yes! So far I have used it as a leave in conditioner (TICK), on damp hair as a detangler (TICK), to aid with a blowdry (TICK), so that also means it was a heat protector (TICK), and on dry hair to smooth and add shine (TICK, TICK). Plus it does all this while smelling of mango and coconut, so you also get mental waves of sunning yourself on a tropical beach - NOICE.

One teeny tiny thing though, I'm not in love with the pump action spray bottle. Sometimes the liquid 'cream' feels a tad too thick and it struggles to spray properly, so I find it easier to pump it into the palm of my hand and apply from there. It would be an ideal wax style product in a little tin, maybe that's something for the Doctor to think about for a future release. 

Overall, fine holiday fun. Literally, perf for taking on trips away to save space in your luggage, so this is definitely one we'll both be packing into those honeymoon suitcases :)

I hope everyone is having an awesome Bank Holiday weekend! Having an extra day off for wedding planning/life, means I can finally share some recent outfit photos. About a month ago I received a beautiful leather fringed clutch bag from American brand, HButler. Not just a pretty face, this hella cool clutch is also a Mighty Purse! 

Uhhh, say what? "What makes it so mighty", you ask? Inside is a secret little power bar... so it charges your phone on the go! Unlike most heavy duty power bars, this one is ultra slimline and lightweight. If you didn't know better, you'd think if was just a regular clutch. It's the Clark Kent of handbags.

What I love about the Mighty Purse (which also comes with a strap and doubles as a cross body) is it's the kind of thing I'd reach for in a shop, without even knowing its secret. I took it to a friend's birthday party the other week and after a *few* Mojitos, I was approaching strangers to tell them ALL about it. Haha! Unsurprisingly, everyone I spoke to was hella impressed. I even charged two phones that night. Seriously.
