Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree With NudeAudio!

Isn't technology awesome? I've been itching to get my paws on a bluetooth speaker for a while now but all the decent ones seem so expensive and with Christmas looming I just couldn't justify it, so when NudeAudio offered to treat me to a cute little Move S (rrp £29.99), I was like, errr YEAH?!! Please, obvio.

Minimal Design. Serious Sound. That's the NudeAudio motto, and trust me, they are not bluffing. This may look like a small, simple piece of kit so you would be forgiven for thinking that it didn't have the minerals, but you'd be wrong. This little guy is FIERCE! I have been hovering around the wireless speakers in electrical superstores for months now, anonymously sending my fave tracks over to test them out and in all honesty, the Move S has a sound capable of matching, and perhaps even beating, a famous name portable speaker more than 3 times it's price! Move S is super portable and super durable, protected by a thick, protected silicon sleeve while still staying soft to the touch. Measuring approx. 8cm x 8cm, and just 4cm thick, it's handbag and pocket friendly, and for the purposes of this review, Christmas tree friendly! Yep, that is indeed the speaker nestled between Tink and a festive leopard dangler on my tree, providing me with 8 hours of tunes while I wrap gifts and prep for the big day!

The 3.0 Bluetooth wireless streaming tech provides a range of 10 metres, which is perfect for my cosy house, and it pairs with up to 8 devices including the iPhone, iPad, most smartphones, tablets, laptops and more! So far I've paired mine with my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone, iPhone and our Samsung lappy. Connection is rapid and it doesn't forget. Sweet.

I am so impressed with the sound; it handles all ranges with ease, from the pop crispness of Gaga's 'Summerboy', to the rough, bass fuelled sound of Kanye's 'Black Skinhead' and doesn't crack even at full volume, which is actually pleasingly high for such a small device! In fact, the sound just gets better when you crank it up, filling out and rounding off nicely :)



At just under £30 this would make a kickass gift for someone this Christmas, literally anyone who has a phone, tablet or laptop could put one to good use, even if they don't currently use something like it. For example, my dad watches movies on his tablet with earphones all the time and I'm guessing one of these would really enhance his miniature cinema experience, though he probably hasn't considered it!

The Move S is available in 2 colourways (grey or black), and is one of four styles from NudeAudio; S Wired, Move S, Move M, and Move L. Yes, I totally want Move L in my life. If Move S sounds this good at this size, L sounds like it will blow me away! Overall, fine holiday fun, two very enthusiastic thumbs up :)
