Black and Gold! Party Dresses From Pushka!

This weekend I went to my first festive party, and never one to go all out glam, I chose to rock a glitzy jumper dress from Pushka, a boutique specialising in party and occasion dresses! 

The Pushka Black And Gold Jumper Dress (£45) is a dress length knit, so you could also wear it over leggings or jeans for say, an after work event that you don't want to go all out glam for. There is a lot of sparkle in the soft and thick, fluffy material, and it's nice to see black and gold together instead of the usual black and silver. This is the size M/L and you can see it's coming up bodycon on my size 12 figure, but I still found it hugs my curves in a really flattering way so game on!

Outfit: Dress - c/o Pushka, Bag - New Look, Tights - DKNY, Boots - Jeffrey Campbell.

I went with opaque faux stocking tights and chunky boots this time, but I did toy with going bare legged with a pair of killer black heels. Both looked nice, so at least I know I have another unseen party outfit mind banked for next time!

I went without jewellery because the dress is very blingy by itself, so I accessorised with a quirky clutch bag to match my shoes. I love this New Look clutch for obvious reasons!

I think this is a nice alternative to the sequin mini dresses that are about, it still shimmers and sparkles in the light, but you don't get squashed sequin anxiety every you sit down! ;)
