The Editeur Fashion Show at Restaurant 1539, Chester - A Night Of Salivating On Every Level!

Monday 7 May 2012

Last Thursday I attended The Editeur's fashion show held at Restaurant 1539 in Chester, with Citygate Menswear and Boodles. It was a wonderful night of great people, amazing food and gorgeous clothes!

We enjoyed a 3 course meal whilst the conversation flowed. I met some lovely bloggers; Sharon of My Passport To Style, Sarah of Fashion Dotty and Clare of I Like Tweet! After the cheesecake had gone, The Editeur showcased a selection of beautiful ladieswear by their stocked designers including Pinko, Tibi, Sportmax, Current/Elliot and See By Chloe amongst others. I was a rubbish blogger and was having too much of a good time chatting to position myself to get any runway pics for you, but there were some stunning pieces. Here are a few examples of what we saw....

You know we're denim addicts, well when these Current Elliot The Stiletto Jean in Camel Leopard - £200, walked past - I was like, ahhhhhhhh gimme!

Another fave was this stunning Tibi Jasmine One Shoulder Dress, £255 - the print was to die for in real life, the pastels verged on neons they were so brightly contrasted against the muted nude - yum!

This Patrizia Pepe Tie Dye Fringe Dress in Lemon, £315 - wowed us all with it's dip dye cool and easy movement.

We also saw a selection of beautiful hats from Laura Apsit Livens, a super talented hat designer who has worked with Philip Treacy and made pieces for McQueen, Armani and Valentino couture shows.

The Editeur's Adam was excited to reveal that his store will soon be bringing Laura's own label hat designs to the store, an ideal location considering Chester's raceday party lifestyle! I'm sure they will make a big splash with the local ladies!

The Editeur is definitely a fashion force to be reckoned with, bringing covetable and wearable designer pieces to Chester's style set, with the online store supplying those of us who can't make it to the city. I will definitely be popping in to fondle the JBrand's next time I'm in the area ;)
