Last Thursday I headed to the brand new Ham Yard Hotel in London, for a preview of Next's Winter collection! I always have the most fun at Next's blogger events, they're always so well organised and the team are just super friendly and lovely. I also find them a great excuse to hang out with some of my fave bloggers - including the beautiful Stephanie of FAIIINT.
I've definitely started shopping more at Next over the past few years, I think the design team have really upped their game and the collections seem to be aimed at a younger market, it's no longer just the shop my mum loves.
Photos by myself & Stephanie of FAIIINT.
We were treated to cocktails, snacks, afternoon tea, manicures, fashion portraits and there was even a palm reader to hand! I spotted some gorgeous new pieces from the upcoming collection, including a faux fur leopard cape (which was causing a stir), some patent black brogues, lots of party heels and a selection of statement necklaces! We were asked to write a top 5 'lust list' which took Steph and I about 2 hours to complete - we were just spoilt for choice.
Everyone had their outfit illustrated by the extremely talented (and delightful) Eleni of Fall into London. Sadly I didn't take any outfit photos, but hopefully you work out what I'm wearing from my illustration above. I'm glad I got to meet Eleni before she becomes uber famous. That girl is going places!
It was nice to meet some new faces and hang out with some of the bloggers I've been following for years... Claire if you're reading this, it was awesome to finally meet you! ;)
Thanks so much to Next for inviting me. I can't wait for the new collection to drop! Are you a fan of Next? Are you looking forward to A/W clothing?

My mum has always loved Next too, but you're right - it's definitely improving and I'd be happy to pick up some bits and pieces from there nowadays! The shoes especially are lovely :) I wonder if we'll get a few more sunny days before we have to start layering up! xxx
