Jeanography: Fit First Time Review And A Chance To Win!

Tuesday 19 March 2013

It's no secret that I love denim. However, I do have friends who struggle to find jeans that fit. If you can relate, let me introduce you to Jeanography!

Jeanography is an online boutique which specialises in women's premium denim. I like to experiment with new designers and sometimes choosing the correct size can be difficult because sizing often differs. Jeanography have recently launched a new Fit First Time service in an attempt to make online shopping for jeans effortless.

I was invited to try this service and report back. Upon registration, I had to create a profile by providing my personal preferences and body metrics. You can pick between 1 and 3 pairs of jeans to try. If you only choose 1 pair, the stylist will review your choice and pick 1 size and 1 style alternative for you.

I picked 2 styles, the Siwy Hannah Skinny in Cool la la and the Hudson Nico Mid Rise Super Skinny in Soft Teal. I then received an email from the Jeanography stylist who had reviewed my choices and decided to send me the Hudson jeans in an additional size. The jeans were sent by next day delivery (which is free).

Denim Shirt: Internacionale - Jumper: Wildfox Rainbow Dreamer Knitted Jumper - Jeans: Hudson Jeans c/o Jeanography - Shoes: Keds

Although I liked both styles, Hudson is my favourite denim brand because their jeans fit me so well, so I chose to keep the Nico jeans. You have 7 days to inform Jeanography which jeans you'd like to keep and the (free) returns really are a doddle. I contacted customer services and they arranged for the other 2 styles to be picked up the next day.

Fox Ring: Wildfox - Crown Ring: Disney Couture

I love how bright my chosen skinnies are, they're really summery and ultra comfy! It's worth mentioning that you don't get charged for the first 14 days when using this service, so you have time to make your mind up and if necessary, organise a return.

I first started investing in premium denim when I was about 16. I own over 40 pairs of jeans and the majority of them are designer! Although I do still like high street denim, I find it usually doesn't last for more than 3 years so for me premium denim is the better investment.

You may be interested to know that Jeanography have just launched an exciting competition to win a pair of premium jeans up to the value of £250. There will also be 10 runners up who win each a £50 Jeanography voucher. You can enter using the Rafflecopter form below, the T&C's are listed in the widget.

  1. This is an amazing idea. If you're investing that much in a pair of jeans then a service like this is pretty much ideal.

I want to enter but Twitter keeps telling me the tweet is over 140 characters (even though I can see there's a character left over!) so I will try again later!

WF rainbow looking awesome BTW :)
