Bristol Bloggers: Kiehl's John Lewis Cribbs Causeway

Thursday 10 August 2017

Last week, a selection of Bristol bloggers were invited to the Kiehl's concession (within John Lewis) at The Mall for a blog event! I've never tried any Kiehl's skincare before but Jade always raves about them, so I was looking forward to visiting the Cribbs Causeway store and learning a little more.

Kiehl's started in 1851 in New York City's East Village. They claim to offer effective skin and hair solutions through products of the highest quality. They use the most advanced technologies and use high concentrations of natural ingredients. Offering a generous returns policy, staff are customer focused and passionate about the skincare they sell.

First impressions were good - I love the store layout! It definitely has a cool, NYC loft vibe. The staff all wear white lab coats, possibly a throwback to the brand's apothecary beginnings.

As the concession is within a department store, floor space for bloggers is limited, so we headed to the espresso bar downstairs for the event. I spotted a few familiar faces and lots of new ones too! As someone who gets to work with influencers on the daily, I love discovering new blogs.

The two Hannahs talked us through some of their all stars, and gave us a great introduction to the brand! Matt the concession manager was also really knowledgeable (and oh so lovely). I really enjoyed testing the range and learning about each individual product and its ingredients.

My initial favourites were the Calendula Deep Cleansing Face Wash, Midnight Recovery Botantical Cleansing Oil, Ultra Facial Cream ad the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque!

We were given a little goody bag of samples, which I've been working my way through! Kiehl's like to give samples so customers can get a taste of a product before they invest. I've been using my little Ultra Facial Cream and it is an absolute dream! However, I think the first product I'm putting on my wishlist is the Turmeric face mask... Is it too soon to be thinking about Christmas? I'd love a stocking full of Kiehl's and I'm sure this would sort out my dry skin!

Have you tried Kiehl's before? If so, what's your favourite product? - T
