Afterwards we all skipped along to check out the new AW11 ranges that are in TK stores now, online, or coming to stores soon. Seriously, it was designer and trend heaven. People have this perception that TK Maxx only stocks past season or seconds etc, but it's SO not true. The majority is current season, quality, select pieces bought at amazing prices so the saving can be passed onto us. No fear there! I was running my hands along rails of Pucci, D&G, Gaultier and Versace and scanning displays of major top label goodies from Angel Jackson, Steve Madden, Ted Baker and Philosophy! The scene was decked out circus style to match the new AW11 lookbook theme (saving it for another post!) and was a real feast for the eyes, check out my snaps (this is pic heavy because I just couldn't choose the best displays!)...
I had a fabulous day, and it really wet my appetite for a bit of TK browsing this weekend. I had already spotted a few pieces instore and online from the rails yesterday, they're so up to date already! If you're not normally a TK Maxx shopper you really need to get onto it stat. The key is to go in with an open mind, take your time and browse by category and size, i.e. Dresses Size 10, and try on!
Check out the new TK tv ad, it's so true! I know I've converted so many of my friends in the same way!
I guarantee you will find something amazing, and once you go Maxx, you never go back ;)
J - TK-Maxxer forever!

I was invited to this but couldn't make it. Gutted.com.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge TK Maxx fan. If you're patient and have an open mind, you'll find the most amazing pieces are bargain prices. Just about every bag I've owned for 10 years has been a TK Maxx find. A few timeless coats and only this week I picked up a great pair of winter boots (ONLINE!!) RRP £180, but a mere £59.99 at TK Maxx.
ReplyDeleteI also love a good rummage, so the store suits me perfectly!
It was so lovely to meet you Becky!
ReplyDeleteAwww Daisy oh no! It would've been so nice to see you too!
Madame G, I'm totally with you on this. I've been a TK Maxx-er for way over a decade now, some of my mostr favourite things ever have been found in there and I love a good look on the rails. It's a total thrill when you find something amazing right? Like the red silk McQ jumpsuit I found for £20. I literally screamed in shock and looked around for Jeremy Beadle.... :)

That's a shame Kirsty, I know every store varies but I really love my local ones, and I have definitely found current items in there that are still available to buy full price elsewhere. I hate damages though, but I think that's more likely to be careless customers than how they actually arrived at the store.
