A Bit Of Hybrid Fashion!

I do love a bit of leather, or faux leather if it looks the part, and my new dress from Hybrid Fashion certainly does! The Cannes Faux Leather Pencil Dress is now £67.50 in the sale and it fits like a dream! 

It's actually a very dark brown, which makes it that little bit different to all the black ones out there. I love that it's fully lined, but that it also feels really soft and almost stretchy, so you don't get that 'UGH I can't move!' feeling that faux leather often brings with it!

I ordered the size 12 and it's absolutely perfect and very flattering, fitting just where it should all over. This faux leather is really soft so there's no lumps or bumps as the fabric attempts to mould to your curves, just light folds which make a sleek silhouette easy to maintain! When it comes to faux leather, this sort of piece really proves that it is better to spend a little more to get a better effect. This will be an evening look for me. I was poorly sick over the party season so I didn't get to go to any parties, hence I'm playing dress up now. A girl has to bank unused outfit ideas right?!

You may remember the Mi Moneda post a few weeks back, where T and I styled our new jewelz up for a daytime look? Well this is my switcheroo for a night time look. I flipped the gold holder to reveal the more sparkly diamante stones, and popped in my silver Carpe Diem coin. This means that I've got all 3 precious metal tones (gold, silver and lorose gold in the chain) in one piece of jewellery, giving me the freedom to wear any other pieces I feel like regardless of their colour - yey! Here I'm rocking a full set of tri-colour ringage to complement the necklace and the earthy, neutral tones in the outfit. I think it really works and if you don't well I (and Cher Horowitz) say Carpe Diem okay, I looked hot in it! 

I love this Aq/Aq belt. 'When Doves Cry' is one of my fave Prince songs, so when I saw it I knew it had to be mine. It's an awesome statement accessory, just perfect for setting off this dress.

And the cat Lita's again. We've rekindled our love for each other so get used to seeing them a lot more. It's like 2012 all over again ;)

So now I just need a few parties to go to, anyone got any invites for me? ;)
