Last month Next asked us if we'd like to be involved in an upcoming editorial on trouser trends (now live). I obviously jumped at the chance and was given a pair of leather look skinnies to style! I've always wanted a pair of leather trousers (if only I were a rich girl) but these faux leather ones are pretty darn awesome for the price! Observe...

I wasn't sure which size to order because I generally size down in Next but after reading the reviews, I went for the size 10. I was a bit worried about squeezing into them (I had spotted a few negative comments online) but once they arrived, I slipped them on, and gosh darn it, they fit like a dream! They come in 4 different colours (£28) and are also available in both tall and petite. I picked this chunky roll neck jumper (£32) to complete my look because I love pairing knitwear with leather. Although you can't see it, these skinnies are also uber flattering on the booty. I'm just sayin'.
On a slightly unrelated note, in the past a few of you have left comments raising your concerns about my safety while taking photos on these tracks. WELL, last week I spotted my first moving train during photo time! Ha! It was a steam train which was going about 5 mph but it made me chuckle. Next time I'm going to ask if I'm allowed to hang off the side of it... ;)
