Bank On Clashing Prints With Miss London!

Tuesday 5 November 2013

I was totally inspired by the clashing prints at the Forever 21 Liverpool opening. Their mannequins were rocking tartan against leopard alongside dogtooth and to my surprise, it looked totally awesome! So when Miss London sent me this adorable Dogtooth Knit Jumper (£26.99), I knew what I had to do . . .

Outfit: Jumper - c/o Miss London, Shirt - F21, Jeans - F21, Boots - Steve Madden at Dune, Jacket c/o Bank.

Some of you might be thinking 'She's clearly lost it!', but I honestly think this looks good! It seems to blend despite being made up of three bold, strong prints. Maybe it's the simple addition of a plain black jacket and boots? The jacket is from Bank, the Ribbon Long Line Leather Look Biker Jacket (£50), I've got plenty of leather and faux leather jackets in my wardrobe but this is my first long line and it's a really cool shape. I kind of wished I'd sized up and had it a touch oversize but hey ho. Sometimes I have to tell myself that I'm a girl and not everything has to be HUGE on me ;)  I actually can't wait to wear it with a dress next time!

The jumper is a fluffy dream, super soft and snuggly, perfect for winter layering! I love how the pattern is really crisp considering how fuzzy the material is, keeping a traditionally sharp pattern girly and feminine. I can see this one becoming a firm friend this season.

Right now there is a huge 30% off all items on Miss London using ML30DISC so it's the perfect time to treat yourself!

Are you into clashing patterns like this? Am I pulling it off? ;)
