T's Quiz Blogger Dress Challenge: Night Outfit

If you read today's earlier post, you'll know that we were invited to take part in Quiz's Blogger Dress Challenge! We had to style one dress in two ways, creating a day look and a night look. For my evening look, I decided to keep things simple and let my amazing peach chiffon maxi dress do the talking.

It has a super pretty pleated detail at the front and some beautiful embellishment on the waistband and shoulders. I love that it has an empire line making it that little bit more flattering! Mine is a size 6 and fits really well. I'm a lot smaller up top than down below but this style is great for my shape.

I believe you can never be overdressed. This dress would be perfect for a ball or prom but I'd also wear it to a restaurant for a nice meal. I decided to wear silver jewellery because I think it works well with the lovely peach colour. I added a touch of colour by painting my nails a summery coral shade.

At £59.99 it's a lot cheaper than French Connection or Reiss but I think it's on a par with their evening dresses. I added some nude court shoes but I can see it working well with a pair of strappy sandals or wedges! It's such a versatile dress. I know the sparkle would put some women off wearing it in the day but you can just throw a vest/tee/jumper over it like I did and wear it with flats. Why not get your money's worth!? ;)
