J's Quiz Blogger Challenge - Daytime Look!

We were recently asked by Quiz if we wanted to pick a dress from the yummy range and style it up for both daytime and evening/party looks. Er, yeaaah?!! Challenge accepted!

I chose the Black & Stone Gold Chain Belt Maxi Dress - £29.99 because it's simple and I like unfussy, clean lines. I rarely go for embellishments or sparkle on a dress, preferring to add those later on my shoes and accessories. I also liked the way it was dark on the bottom, which hides a multitude of body sins! When the dress arrived I was a happy bunny, it's heavyweight and slinky, which is pleasing for the price, so we were going to be friends :)

For the daytime outfit I decided to concentrate on the skirt and break it up by donning a leather jacket. The cowl neckline easily lent itself to transformation into a 'scarf', then I added a western-esque fringed bag and boots to pull the look into this season - ta daaaaa!
