Harvey Nichols Bristol Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Show!

On Tuesday night I was invited to the Harvey Nichols SS13 fashion show held at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. I absolutely love the Museum, it's so pretty and is the perfect backdrop for a fashion show. It was a high fashion catwalk featuring designers such as Mary Katrantzou, Christopher Kane and Victoria Beckham.

The event proved hugely popular and there were more than 400 people in attendance. When we arrived there were only a few seats left so unfortunately we didn't manage to be FROW but the yummy drinks reception made up for that. Here are some of my show highlights...

In the first scene, the models strutted their stuff while wearing all white. This was a strong statement and looked gorgeous! I'm tempted to try all white ensembles in summer, I just need a bit of a tan first.

I absolutely loved the outfits from the colour pop and neon trends. I think this bold and bright look is one of my favourites from the night, the Diane Von Furstenburg jacket looks perfect with the silk T by Alexander Wang dress. I want it all including the Céline sunnies!

When I first spotted this dress I melted a little. Florals and strong prints are set be big again this SS13 and in the summer you'll rarely find me out of a maxi dress. I love the colours, the pleats and the detail on the bust. Maxi dress perfection.

My favourite piece of the night was this beautiful Anna paisley-lace dress by Erdem. Rather typical really considering it costs a small fortune! I've also always dreamed of owning an Alexander McQueen clutch, I better win the lottery asap. By the end of the show I had some serious hair envy - I want Grecian goddess hair!

The show was 50% mens fashion so there were a lot of good looking men on the catwalk. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I've included a snap of my hottie of the night. He's looking oh so dapper in this well suit I can see my own beau in. 

I had a really fun night and it was awesome to catch up with some of my favourite local bloggers. Unfortunately there wasn't really space to take snaps but trust me when I tell you I was wearing a really cute Spring/Summer outfit - ha!
