The Flossy, Flossy!

I've had this little sparkly number in my wardrobe for quite a while but I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear it! At first it was going to my Christmas Day dress, then it was going to be my New Year's Eve dress, I was even thinking of making it my birthday dress...


Each of these occasions passed me by so I finally decided to wear it yesterday (with a jumper over the top) and embrace the sparkles. I'm a big fan of making sequins casual, I think this collar looks super cute with it and my trusty bowler also helps to dress it down.

It gets dark so early these days as you can probably tell by the slight colour change in these snaps! My dress is the Alex Matte Gold Sequin Party Dress by Glamorous, it was originally £47.99 but is now £40 in the sale. It comes in a few other colours, gold is my favourite but I also love the copper one. I do wish I was a little shorter so I wouldn't need leggings with it. Today I'm wearing a pair of Georgia Rose (£7) leggings from Sarenza which I recommend for shorter dresses/skirts, they're basically good quality (footless) opaque tights.

I'm rarely spotted without some signature bling. You can probably just make out my rose gold jewelz, I love my new M by MJ watch and I'm so glad I didn't buy the similar Michael Kors version because after Christmas every other blogger on the planet owns one! Thankfully, only *approx* one in four bloggers own this bad boy. I like to think my coral nails add a nice splash of colour - is it obvious I'm already dreaming of summer?


Everyone knows I love a bit of bling but are you a fan of sequin dresses? This dress is competing with my green sequin skirt (from last week) to be my sparkly #1.
