Yep, I bought this in a rather vain attempt to make cycling fun. I love this helmet, it's super cute without being childish, but my comfort zone does not include:
A) Anything to do with forced exercise, and cycling counts as forced because I drive a car, so if I'm on a bike, I'm generally not using it to get from A to B.
B) Being on a bike in general. I suck at this, I need stabilisers.
C) Wearing an ugly hard and funny shaped hat that draws attention to the fact that you fail at doing something, in this case - cycling up a hill without dying of exhaustion.
So there you have it, I love it because it's cute and it was bought with the best intentions, but it's so far out of my comfort zone it's unreal ;)
J - Awwww, but uggghhhhhhhh.....
Hahahah, that is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat's the effect it had on me in the store! I somehow thought it would turn me into my 6 year old self, slamming around on my BMX. I thought wrong ;)
DeleteWhere on earth did you find that? NEED.
ReplyDeleteToys R Us! Ahahahaaaaa! And that's also where I got my bike. I had a tantrum because I couldn't have the matching Hello Kitty BMX.
DeleteAww its lovely, I used to cycle everywhere, its great exercise x
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of it but I'm seriously rubbish at it, though we do live right at the top of a hill. In my defence.
