Summer is almost upon us and American brand Sebago are encouraging people to get outside and live their best. Sebago has been around for over 70 years and in case you're curious, got its name from Sebago Lake in Maine, New England. The penny loafer was the first shoe they crafted in 1946 and today this classic style is still made the same way... handsewn using the finest craftsmanship.
Sebago believe in making shoes for people and how they live. To raise awareness of their latest collection, I was recently challenged to create an image showcasing how I live my best, featuring their Plaza II Leather Penny Loafers.
Blazer: Oasis - Hat: ASOS - Shoes: Sebago (c/o)
So if I'm being honest here, I must admit I'm more of a brogue kind of gal but I am enjoying my first pair of penny loafers a la Alexa Chung. My friend at work, Charli, got me into the whole fishnet sock trend so I couldn't resist styling my Plaza II's with my Topshop socks. Although these are my first pair of shoes from Sebago, they're extremely well made and very comfortable. A little tip for you, I'm normally a 6.5 but I'd say these run half a size big. Would I invest in another pair of their women's leather shoes? Yessir!
Have you heard of Sebago? What's your shoe style? - T
