Hey, I Put Some Old Shoes On, And Suddenly Everything Is Right . . .

Monday 3 February 2014

You know that feeling when something comes into fashion and you're like, 'Hmmm, I'm sure I had something like that years ago . . . '? Well I had such an epiphany when I spied all the Celine-alike sneaks that have took over the high street, so off I went to the top of my wardrobe to the land of forgotten shoes and rescued my old L.A.M.B. Katella pumps - hurrah!

Outfit: Jacket - New Look, Tshirt - Tesco, Vest - L.A.M.B., Trousers - Topshop, Shoes - L.A.M.B., Bag - Grafea, Necklace - Mi Moneda.

Yep, I'm still trying to help Kanye make leather jogging bottoms happen. I nabbed these ones in the Topshop sale for £20. Booya. The L.A.M.B. vest I'm wearing over a £2 white Tesco tee (these things are essential!) is as old as the shoes, we're talking around 2005/2006 here I think, but quality is king at the end of the day and good buys last forever!

I love this Grafea rucksack but it doesn't get much airing because it's quite cumbersome for my liking. The neon pinky orange does lift quite a neutral coloured outfit though, gives it a bit of oomph you know?

Ahhhh the leopard Mi Moneda coin. I haven't taken this thing off since I got it, it's just so me! Another thing that is just so me is my nail polish, O.P.I. Jade Is The New Black :)

And finally to the shoes that sparked it all. The L.A.M.B. Katella came in a ton of different patterns and materials but I only have these chain print ones in my collection. You can still buy them on Ebay and sometimes rare sample colourways like leopard print might pop up. Gwen loved to throw out a sample or two back in the day, and her lambies just loved to give them a home! I feel like the style is close enough to what's currently floating our fashion boats so I'll run with these until it's all over, saving myself a bit of cash money in the process :)

How was everyone's weekend? I just did a bit of shopping, nothing major, and watched a lot of movies, so same old really. Happy Monday!
