Saturday Style - Getting Laddered on Guy Fawkes Day!

I got my legs out today, all decked in my latest House Of Holland x Pretty Polly I'm Laddered faux stockings tights - £12, and my new Oasis Faux Leather Pleated Skirt - £45. I love this look!


I had a sudden urge to buy a leather pleated skirt last month but I didn't really want to drop real leather money on one, so I snapped this faux leather one up when I spied it in Oasis! It's gorgeous, and I love that it has an elasticated waist so you can drop it lower on your hips so the hem sits on your knee, giving you a whole new way of wearing it.

The shirt is from Republic, I've had it for a couple of seasons now because it's so versatile, sometimes I wear it open as a light cardigan cover up and I wish I'd got in more colours - doh!


I love these tights, I expected them to be really delicate being mostly sheer but they're not, they feel really nice! I paired the tights with my Jeffrey Campbell Spike Lita boots to toughen them up, channelling my inner Jessie J fierceness, but they'd look super hot with a pencil skirt and heels for a more ladylike look.


The tights and boots combo are a bit showy so I kept the accessories to a minimum, choosing just this Regal Rose Punk Collar - £17, to kind of bounce off the boots.


By the way, the nail polish is from the new Models Own Beetle Juice range, the flippy two tones look amazing in daylight, I can't decide on my favourite yet (I'm wearing 3 of them here - Aqua Violet, Pinky Brown and Purple Blue!).
