Justin Tranter, Semi Precious Weapons= FETTY Jewellery!

I first fell in love with Justin Tranter (the lead singer of Semi Precious Weapons) when I watched my first Lady Gaga in concert (Cardiff), in March. A friend had watched the concert a few days before & had told me to look out for the support act...A high energy rock/pop band, whose lead singer was the male version of Lady Gaga. That's a lot to live up to!

Hanging out in front row, buzzing with excitement, I was feeling open to that possibility.


There's just something about a man that can rock high heels & look like the hottest thing in the room! If you haven't heard of Semi Precious Weapons, then I demand you download them NOW. I'd describe them as a rock infused pop EXPLOSION, with the CATCHIEST lyrics around.

I think it's quite possible that Justin & I were separated at birth. He sings everything I think.

He's glamorous and boy has STYLE. He has an awesome figure & looks amazing in skin tight leggings (RAWR!) He looks like he's raided the MAC counter & probably has better make up skills than most women.

SO after doing a little Justin research earlier today, I discovered that he created Fetty. Woah.

Fetty is a Brooklyn, New York based jewellery company. Justin once worked as a jewellery buyer and his mum designs custom engagement rings, so taking the step to create his own jewellery line seemed only natural for someone with the skills and talent to spot what's hawt! Justin started selling his jewellery at his shows to the fans of his NYC garage-glam band Semi Precious Weapons. The demand soon grew.

Initially sold in some NYC boutiques, later Justin emailed the board of directors of Urban Outfitters, to find out what they thought about Fetty...The buyer emailed him back the next day and the deal was made.

There are three ranges: Fetty Signature, Fame & Precious Weapons.

Fetty Signature. The highest price-point of the three extensions, "Fetty" is comprised of diamond Braille bangles, bracelets, rings & necklaces and diamond zodiac necklaces. "Fetty" pieces are currently sold at Barneys New York and Barneys CO-OP worldwide and are priced between $170.00 and $800.00 depending on diamond setting.

"Fame" a line of costume jewellery is inspired by Fetty's Braille collection. The brass and crystal collection comprises highly polished brass cuffs and medallions, each having crystals that spell out words like "magnetic," "baby," "try," "love," "precious," "fire," "I love me," and "fame" in Braille. This line is sold at Nina at Fred Segal in Los Angeles, Alter in Brooklyn and Karmaloop.com at $40.00 to $100.00.

Fetty's "Precious Weapons" collection is an inexpensive line of costume jewellery inspired by Justin's glam band Semi Precious Weapons. This line uses motifs like guns and axes that features a XL gold colored gun on an 28-inch gold colored ball chain and a XL gold colored tooth on an 28-inch gold colored ball chain. Over 100,000 pieces have been sold between Urban Outfitters and Hot Topic. Prices range between $15.00-$25.00.

Taylor Momsen, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lindsay Price, Lady Gaga (DUH!), Rhianna, Kate Moss and Jamie King are all huge Fetty fans!

I LOVE FETTY. Rock 'n' Roll inspired and completely awesome, I really need some in my life. I watched Lady Gaga (& therefore SPW) again in June and Justin showed off his jewels at that concert. I remember mouthing to my friend "I NEED!", but wasn't quite strong enough to fight the Gaga fans at the merchandise stalls after the show.


Now I can buy it all online? My poor bank balance. Hey, at least I will be looking fabulous, even if I am penniless next month ;)
