A few months back my hairdresser introduced me to a new product called "Moroccan oil". At first I was a bit sceptical, so I pretended to only be slightly interested but let her use it on my hair anyway.
I remember noticing how good it smelled! Mmm. I thought that my hair looked shinier because of it but I put that down to my imagination. You know how the hairdresser has magical powers, so your hair ALWAYS looks good after being done? So anyway, I temporarily forgot about it.
A week or so later I was browsing for beauty buys online and I remembered the name. At £29.95 a bottle it's not particularly cheap but I started to consider having a little splurge. I dont dye my hair and it's naturally quite straight. Although I treat myself to an expensive hair cut every 4-5 weeks, its relatively low maintenance & doesnt cost much to keep.
After googling it, it turns out Moroccan oil pretty hot beauty buy! I also discovered that it's a celebrity favourite. Stars such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift & Ashlee Simpson-Wentz love it! After seeing this picture I just HAD to buy some. If it's good enough for Gagaloo...
The day it arrived I figured I would just quickly use it on damp hair as I was in a hurry to go over a friends. I quickly blow dried my hair and ran the straighteners through it before running out the door!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the time I took to do my hair was atleast halved. My hair dried a lot quicker and I only had to simply run the straightening irons over it, oppose to me normally spending 30 minutes doing so. When I reached my friends house she immediately asked me if I'd been to the hairdressers. I didn't even look in the mirror in my mad rush, but turns out it was looking pretty sleek and super shiny! RESULT.
It's absorbed into the hair instantly, creating a beautiful natural looking shine and helps add strength and elasticity to your hair. It's an ultra light formula and can be applied to both damp and dry hair. It majorly helps reduce blow drying and styling time.
I think it's important to add that this stuff lasts for forever. Ive been using it every other day for a few months & i've used less than 1/6th of the bottle.
The product itself is alcohol free. It's infused with Argan oil which originates from the Southwest region of Morocco, hence the name. They claim that hair looks healthier and shinier after just one application...I'd have to agree! I also love the fact that its not greasy, it doesnt weigh your hair down at all.
Although my hair is naturally straight I always struggle to get it looking super sleek. Moroccan oil has made my hair A LOT easier to manage & A LOT sleeker. I recommend that everyone tries it- its suitable for all hair types.
