Studio by Preen at Debenhams Wrap Dress

Monday 4 February 2019

So following on from my post last week, I'm back with another little blog article. I really meant what I said about buying less and focusing on items *I know* I'll keep in my wardrobe for years to come, which is why I wanted to feature this ensemble.

There are only about 5-10 brands that I LOVE. I really like plenty of brands/stores, but the following names really spark joy for me because I want to wear A LOT of their pieces. Okay, here goes... Bjorg, Anthropologie, Free People, Spell, Wildfox, Nine by Savannah Miller, Studio by Preen and Eclectic Eccentricity. That'll do!

So one of my faves is Studio by Preen (obsessed) which can be found at good ole Debenhams. My first ever retail job was at Debs so I'll always have a bit of an attachment to it. I think it's garnered a bad rep in recent times but you can find some absolute gems both in-store and online *cough* Abigail Ahern everything *cough*! As somebody who can't afford Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, I really appreciate this more purse-friendly line.

Dress: Studio by Preen at Debenhams - Hat: Levis - Boots: Anthropologie - Necklace: Stella & Dot - Bag: Johnny Loves Rosie

This hella cute frock was a 70% off purchase from the summertime. It's a little sheer but I pair it with a slip from another Studio by Preen dress to protect my modesty. I'm also living for the slightly oversized look because what gal doesn't want to go outside feeling like she's wearing pyjamas? Exxactly.

I also digging this black circle bag from another British brand, Johnny Loves Rosie. It's such a cute shape and comes in rose gold and silver too!

Possibly the star of the outfit = these green boots from Anthropologie! They are last year's birthday gift from Sam and boy do I like them a lot. Anthro always brings the goods and so does my man.

In life news, I'm hella excited to be heading on my first trip of 2019 later this month. I'm desperate to get out of the country and do some more exploring. The theme this year might be 'P'... Portugal, Patagonia... Peru? HA. I can see Sam eye-rolling already. Your girl can dream.
