I was extremely excited to head to Bath after work, especially as the weather was surprisingly warm! In the summer Jade gifted me with a Prudence Loves letterboard and I put one of my favourite La La Land quotes on it. So it's probably no shocker that the film we watched was La La Land. Hurrah!
When we arrived we were shown to our special NOTHS seats by the amazing Alex, who had saved them for us. Turns out, we were given two of the best seats in the house. Not only that, he soon revealed a massive present CRAMMED with snacks and treats. This generous gift allowed us to later re-create our cinematic experience at home! Oh I do love movie nights in autumn. That Not On the High Street team is full of surprises.
The event was held at the iconic Royal Crescent in Bath, which is an absolutely beautiful location. Sadly by the time I arrived it was dark so I don't have much evidence to back up my claim, but just take my word for it.
VIP Luna Cinema Tickets: c/o Not on The High Street
This was the third time I watched the film and after listening to the soundtrack on repeat for about two months, I pretty much knew every single word from every single song. It was a DREAM. When it came to an end, we regrettably left and made our way to the train station but we could still hear the soundtrack echoing through the streets. It was one of the nicest moments!
The venue was spacious, it didn't feel cramped at all and everyone working there was sweet and bubbly. We treated ourselves to a delicious hot chocolate and there were plenty of food vendors to choose from. This was my first The Luna Cinema experience but I'm eager to have another. I wasn't obligated to write about my night but I had such a great time, I wanted to! Our tickets were complimentary but I'd happily hand over my cash for another evening like this.
Have you been to The Luna Cinema before? Are you a fan of La La Land? - T
