My Fitness Wishlist: Stylish Workout Clothes

Wednesday 6 September 2017

CONFESSION TIME. I'm now officially one of those crazy women who gets a buzz from working out and wearing cute gym outfits. Actually, I only go the gym once a week... but I do exercise 6/7 days a week! In case you missed it, over 7 weeks ago I downloaded the 'Sweat with Kayla' app and began my BBG journey.

If you're familiar with Kayla Itsines and BBG, you're probably as obsessed as me. Not only is Kayla a mega babe, her app workouts are easy to follow and she's all about empowering women and giving them confidence. I'm really happy with the results so far and I love being part of such a dedicated community. BBG girls for life, yo!

So because I'm working out most days, my interest in activewear and gym clothes is increasing more and more with every passing week. Most sportswear brands are completely new to me (except for the big ones) so I figured I'd create a dream fitness wishlist to share with you guys - in case you're also looking to sweat with style.

1. Astro Core Full Length Tights (£89) & Astro Yoga Bra (£55) - Lorna Jane
2. Charleston Two Piece Outfit (£126 or £52 for VIP members) - Fabletics
3. Animal Print Colour Block Legging (£28) & Ombre top (£14)- Nine by Savannah Miller
4. Leonora Two Piece Outfit (£107 or £52 for VIP members) - Fabletics
5. Jet Legging (£56) and Oxyenta bralet (£39) - Cleo Harper
6. Breathe Tank Top (£40) and Power Legend Contour Leggings (£65) - Nike

You'll notice I didn't include any Lululemon, Sweaty Betty or Under Armour. It might just be me but I really wasn't impressed by their styles. I want to be wowed, guys. Work harder. But my wishlist = cuteness overload, am I right!?

I think I'm going to purchase the Lorna Jane tights or the Cleo Harper leggings first... Most likely when I hit my next milestone (I just want to do 1 push up). When I started exercising, I could barely do a sit up and burpees were almost impossible. Now, 7 weeks on, I can finally do sit ups properly and burpees aren't *too much* of a pain. Although I'm losing weight (1 stone, in case you're wondering), I'm noticeably getting stronger which is what really excites me! Until this past year I've always been pretty slim, but I've never been fit. Now I'm all about getting strong and healthy rather than skinny.

Have you heard of 'Sweat'? Does stylish gym wear float your boat? - T
