Awesome designer Roksanda has collaborated with Lancôme on a limited edition bag incorporating her signature bright colour blocking, containing four of their must have minis:
Hydarzen Cream SPF15, La Base Pro Porekiller, Hypnose Mascara and Absolu Rouge BX06. All this can be yours when you spend £29 at a Lancôme Harvey Nichols in store counter until 8th June. I can't wait to try the Porekiller, having heard fab things about it already, and the lippy is a perfect summer pink!
The designer gives us some deets on the collab . . .
How did you come to work with Lancôme?
I’ve always admired Lancôme as a timeless, elegant brand. When they approached me I saw it as a great opportunity to work together.
Do you have a vision when designing fashion for a complimentary beauty look?
When I send a look out on the catwalk it needs to be Roksanda from head to toe. It’s about a complete vision, about bringing your world to life. I like the contrast of ‘dressy’ outfits with hair and skin that feels quite natural, along with my signature red lip.
You always look flawless, what is your skincare secret?
I always wear SPF50 when in the sun and drink plenty of water.
You are known for your signature red lip, do you have different shades for day and night?
In the day I prefer something a bit punchier like a bright orange-red, whereas for evening I like a deeper, richer blue-red.
What are your favourite Lancôme products?
Lancome L’Absolu Rouge and Hypnôse Mascara.
The sweethearts at Lancôme treated me to two full size products; Miracle Cushion Foundation (£30) and Grandiose Mascara (£25). I'm so intrigued by the foundation. I know Loreal have just released their version but this is the bad boy original so I have high hopes for it! The packaging is so lovely though, I really don't want to go tap tapping just yet, but I also love how it's refillable.
The mascara looks amazing too. I've seen the results of this in a review by Really Ree and it was basically lashes for DAYS so again, I can't wait to try it. Check out that swan neck brush and beautiful case, it's a work of art.
