Hush Puppies 'How To Wear' Challenge!

Until recently, Hush Puppies wasn't a brand I associated with stylish shoes. Every Brit knows Hush Puppies makes comfortable footwear, but they've had a bit of a reputation of being just that, comfortable. I was recently asked to take part in their blogger 'How To Wear' campaign, and challenged to style a pair of Hush Puppies from their SS15 collection.

I was a bit taken aback by the range on their website, they have stock so many fashionable styles I opted for a pair of trendy summer brogues. Standard.

Blouse: River Island - Jeans: Oasis - Brogues: c/o Hush Puppies 

I am a bit of a brogue addict, I think I probably own 12 pairs but none of them are this soft! The leather is soft and the 6.5 fits me perfectly. I styled these Ellodie Ellis shoes with some high waisted skinny jeans, a classic black blouse and this cream mac. This is a very simple look but I think it's quite chic, would you agree?

I did read an online review which says they rub but this is certainly not the case for me! They are extremely comfortable. As the colour is so pale and summery, you need to be quite careful with them (no jumping in muddy puddles). As soon as I put them on, I accidentally kicked a table with excitement and scuffed them, but after rubbing a bit of Vaseline on them, the mark completely disappeared and they are now back to being perfect. PHEW.
