The Little Colourful Dress Challenge With Dove Invisible Dry!

I absolutely love wearing colourful dresses! When it comes to style, I'm all about statement pieces and when I wear a bold frock, I feel more confident. 

Dove recently launched a new Invisible Dry Anti-Perspirant range proven to leave no white marks on 100 different colours, and to celebrate this launch we've been asked to take part in their LCD (Little Colourful Dress) campaign! As mentioned in Jade's post yesterday, a recent Dove Colour Confidence Poll revealed a massive 63% of British women would opt for an LBD over a LCD. In order to encourage more women to embrace colour and ditch the black, Dove have teamed up with fashion stylist Alex Longmore who has some great tips on wearing colour!

Alex believes wearing black clothing can make our complexion look dull and wants us to be brave when it comes to wearing colour and just go for it! Opting for brights can make you feel more confident and colourful dresses work well for both special occasions and general everyday wear.

I don't really need much encouragement when it comes to wearing bright shades but I spotted this lemon lace shift dress from Oasis and knew I needed it in my summer wardrobe! It's currently on sale and is an absolute bargain - it's the type of dress I'd wear to either a wedding, or on date night.

I can confirm that after a good few hours, there were no white marks in sight! I've been wearing Dove deodorant for years and this one works wonders (RRP £2.30 - £3.79 at Boots).

    I think this campaign is a really good idea actually, especially when it's hot! Who wants to wear a black dress in the heat? I love the yellow dress on you too, yellow is slowly becoming my favourite colour xx

    Oh wow I love the colour of this dress, perfect for summer! I've used Dove before and my mums always a huge fan! The past few months I've actually been using more natural alternatives and love the LUSH powder ones, but do admit they don't work as well :( you need to apply allot more... xx

    That dress is stunning!
    I love wearing colour, it just doesn't happen often. It's so much easier to match black to black, than colour to colour.

    I really like what Dove is doing to cure our self-confidence. I do embrace wearing color, 80% of my dresses are colorful and even when I'm wearing something discreet I try to add some details in color. You look great in these photos
