JORD Ely and Delmar Wood Watches Review

Both Sam & I are watch addicts. I feel completely naked without a watch, I know the kids of today aren't even interested in wearing them but I hate looking at my phone for the time, I want to look at a pretty watch!

Last year I spotted JORD watches popping up on a few of my favourite blogs and until then, I had no idea wooden watches existed. There's something so beautiful about these unusual watches, the 100% natural wood is sustainably sourced from across the world and their styles are available in various different types.

Sam probably owns more watches than me and he's always looking for new unique styles. JORD watches come all the way from Missouri in the US but ship internationally. They came unsized so we took them to a local jewellers who removed our links for just £5 per watch. Bargain.

I opted for the Ely watch in Cherry, I have such pale skin so as much as I love the maple wood, I knew it wouldn't suit me. It's really delicate and feminine! Sam is wearing the Delmar in White, a much chunkier, masculine watch. The Delmar even came in a really fancy wooden box. Because the wood used is untreated, you need to mix a solution of two tablespoons of each olive oil and lemon juice to clean them. How cute!?

I have to mention the dress I'm wearing from La Redoute. It's part of the La Redoute x Brigette Bardot collection and I've been swooning over it for weeks! It ended up going on sale so I snapped it up  - I love the sheer back. Wouldn't you agree it works perfectly with this watch?

So now we have a few more JORD watches on my wish list. I want the Cora watch and Sam wants the Dover! Early wedding gifts anyone? ;) Have you heard of JORD?
