Mother's Day Fashion With George!

Tuesday 11 March 2014

Brace yourselves girls, Mother's Day is coming! We get our first style inspirations from our mum, whether it's popping your tiny feet into her high heels or ruining her fave lippy by smearing it all over your face, so no doubt some of us will be looking forward to taking the special lady out for lunch or somewhere special, so we've put together a little coordinating mother and daughter outfit set with George!

Mom jeans may be hot right now, but your actual mom probably remembers them from the eighties and would rather wear a rara skirt than rock them again, so we chose a smart pair of denim trousers for her instead :) Lace is big news for S/S14 and this cream lace shirt (£12) is the perfect nod to the trend without the cries of 'Oh noooo, that's too young for me!'. Accessorise with a cute crossbody, metallic flats and lace filigree bracelet and you have one hot mama on your hands!

Spring is definitely in the air so take your momma out in something feminine that she'll love on you. We adore this jersey maxi dress (£18) and we've styled it with a classic biker jacket (because you can be sure your mum wouldn't let you out of the house without a cover up!). Accessorise with a bold patterned crossbody and yummy metallic sandals and you're good to go - one cute chick!

Do you have any plans for Mother's Day this year? How stylish is your mum? :)

J - Who runs the world? MUMS!

  1. I love the cute lace shirt, that's definitely something I would wear too! Although, they'd be no point buying my mum an item of white clothing aha, she would definitely spill something on it within the first 5 minutes! xxx
