Rawr Girls Perfume Review: Lady Million - Paco Rabanne.

Friday 1 November 2013

A few weeks ago, I was asked if I'd like to review a perfume from Essential Fragrances. I tend to alternate the same 3 scents all the time, so jumped at the opportunity to try something new! I decided to go for Lady Million from Paco Rabanne

Lady Million Paco Rabanne Perfume ReviewLady Million - Paco Rabanne perfume: c/o Essential Fragrance

The packaging is impressive, it comes in a stylish gold box with simple black and white lettering. The bottle itself has a very unique design which reminds me of a gold-dipped diamond. I love that the top half looks like an elegantly cut gold bar and the bottom is crystal clear, so you can see the perfume (which is also a yellowy gold). It gives off the impression of luxury and if I had opened this on Christmas day, I would've been just as chuffed!

The scent is described as being daring and emulates the ideal woman - sexy, sultry, glamorous and independent. Wowza. I'm a big fan of sweet scents so I would say it's relatively sweet and floral, but it's not something I'd wear in the day. To me it's more of an evening scent and is sophisticated but not at all mumsy - still fun! Would probably work best when paired with a killer LBD and some statement jewels. A-hem. ;)

Essential Fragrances Review

The top notes are orange and raspberry, heart notes include orange flower and jasmine, with honey being listed as a base note. It's not overpowering but it is quite strong, I like bold scents that have longevity and Lady Million ticks all the right boxes. This is the 50ml bottle (£42.50) which is the size I usually buy. I find 30ml bottles aren't big enough and I'll only choose a 100ml version if it's a scent I adore! It's also a good gifting size.

The verdict: I like it. A lot. My boyfriend likes it even more. 2 big paws up for Lady Million!

T - Feeling glamorous, oh the flossy, flossy! XoX

  5. This sounds like a lovely fragrance, I like sweet scents too and the orange and raspberry top notes sound perfect (although I basically know nothing about perfume!). I always find myself sticking to the same perfumes and I get quite attached to them - it's time to branch out I think! xxx
