Autumn/Winter Boots at Barratts and Leather from Very!

Saturday 12 October 2013

How chilly has it been this week!? Regardless of the weather, I'm still not prepared to ditch leather and maxi skirts. Without even realising it, I've managed to dress in all black again so I guess this is a pretty autumnal outfit. A few weeks ago I blogged about the uber cool 100 years of fashion app at Very.co.uk

Barneys Original Studded Leather Jacket
Very Studded Leather JacketJacket: c/o Very - Cardigan and Midi Rings: c/o Forever 21 - Vest: Warehouse - Skirt: La Redoute - Necklace: Regal Rose - Belt: Topshop

The team at Very asked if I'd like to review a product from my favourite decade so I chose this studded leather biker (which is oh so 80s)! I have several leather jackets but a girl can never have too many. This leather is super soft, I really like the quilted shoulders and stretchy panels on the arms. Mine is a size 10 but it fits more like an 8 so I'd definitely recommend sizing up! I paired it with a basic vest, longline cardi from Forever 21 and my lace La Redoute maxi skirt.

I'm not sure if you can just about make out my midi rings in the above photo but I picked them up in Forever 21 last weekend and I love them so much. The silver ones were £2.40 and the cross rings were just £3.15. Such a bargain, right!?

Barratts Double Strap Ankle Boots With Metal Toe TrimBoots: c/o Barratts

Finally, these awesome metal toe trim boots are from Barratts. They're really affordable at only £40 and Barratts have some great new A/W styles in at the moment that are worth checking out. I own quite a few pairs of boots but I can always make room for more unique styles like this. Don't you just love the metal trim!?

Are you ready to trade your leather jacket for faux fur? Have you finalised your A/W 13 boots collection?

  16. Yay! You're catching the all black bug too! ;) I looove that lace maxi so much, I've been looking for something similar for ages but I can never seem to find any nice lace pieces. You should definitely wear maxis more often, they really suit you! Love the big collar & the sprinkle of studs on the jacket too.

    1. Thank you Emma, I really like the lace peeping out at the bottom too! Rest assured I'm 100% safe, it's at the end of the line and the trains are rarely used. :) xo
