Harvey Nichols Bristol Autumn/Winter 2013 Fashion Show!

Wednesday 25 September 2013

Last night was the Autumn/Winter 2013 Harvey Nichols show held at Cutlers Hall, Quakers Friar in Bristol. I attended their Spring/Summer show earlier this year so I was really excited to see the new fashion for this season.

Harvey Nichols Bristol Autumn/Winter Fashion ShowHide Label: Leather Jacket - Becksondergaard: Scarf c/o The Dressing Room

The venue was a lot more intimate this time which I actually preferred. I was lucky enough to land a spot in the FROW so had a great view of all the garments while I sipped on some champers.

We were treated to 6 different trends and I've managed to decide on my favourite outfits of the night. I must say the models were absolutely beautiful and I developed a bit of a girl crush on one of them. The men were also swoon-worthy and I loved their dapper ensembles!

Diane von Furstenberg Branwen BlouseDiane von Furstenberg: Branwen Blouse & Carven: Wool Blend Skirt

Proenza Shouler Degradé JumperProenza Shouler: Degradé Jumper - MSGM: Floral Brocade Skirt - Alexander Wang: Rocco Bag

Paul Smith Block JumperPaul Smith: Colour Block Jumper - Vivienne Westwood: Red Label Shirt - Stella McCartney: Trouser

Unreal Fur Fire and Ice JacketUnreal Fur: Fire and Ice Faux Fur Jacket - Mary Katrantzou: Dress

I actually squee'd when I saw the above outfit combo. It was so nice to see Unreal Fur up close and personal and paired with no other than a Mary Katrantzou dress!? A/W perfection... If only I were a rich girl. Although I'm hoping to eventually get my paws on an Unreal Fur jacket, I can't imagine myself buying a MK masterpiece anytime soon. *SIGH*

Kenzo Tiger Intarsia-knit JumperKenzo: Tiger Intarsia Jumper - MSGM: Skirt - Cambridge Satchel. Co: Satchel

Kenzo Brocade TrousersKenzo: Brocade Trouser - Sass & Bide: Jacket - Chloé: Crochet Pannelled Shirt

I'm not really a huge fan of the Kenzo sweaters anymore but I think this intarsia knit jumper is much nicer than the older styles. That being said, if I was going to purchase a Kenzo piece it would be these amazing gold brocade trousers. How fierce!?

Alexander McQueen Red Dress
Alexander McQueen Asymmetric Bustier Gown

This Alexander McQueen Bustier Gown certainly stole the show for me. I can imagine it being worn by an A-lister to a special event and it's absolutely gorgeous but at £2,385, I'll just have to admire it from afar...

Thanks to Harvey Nichols for the invite, I can't wait to head in store and drool over everything! If you like the look of any of these featured pieces, just head to the Harvey Nichols website to have a browse.

Which look is your favourite? Are you heading to any Autumn/Winter fashion shows?

T - Has expensive taste. XoX
