We were greeted with a glass of bubbly and given an envelope filled with tags so we could label our favourite pieces. This task proved pretty tough because I liked so much!
As a self-confessed denimaholic, I was instantly drawn to the denim. I spotted cute printed jeans, brightly coloured skinnies and some sweet denim jackets/shirts. It's also no secret that I love lace and crochet so I was drooling all over the pretty cream and pale pink dresses!
I'm obsessed with pastels and my favourite piece of the night was this cutwork maxi dress (£55). I'm definitely putting it on my holiday wishlist for my trip to Barbados later this year! While we were busy chatting about the new collections and mingling, the awesome DJ pumped out old school tunes including classics by 'N Sync, Britney and the Spice Girls! Uh-mazing.
It also seemed like every 2 minutes the waiters and waitresses were bringing out trays of canapés and delicious drinks. I nearly died of happiness when I started drinking what I thought was a chocolate milkshake only to discover was chocolate and peanut butter! NOM.
No blogger party is complete without a photobooth and I must confess I ended up with 7 photobooth pictures... Whoops! My favourite photobooth moments included dancing in the booth and posing with my favourite blogger babes:

I've been reading Kylie's blog Memoir Mode for years and I was so happy to finally meet her! FYI: She's as awesome as expected. I met Steph from FAIINT at the AX Paris event and loved seeing her again, we all just seemed to click and I can't wait for our next meet up! I really do love these girls.
Photo credit: NextBefore I left I managed to raid the sweet stall and grab a goody bag! My goody bag earned me a few jealous glances on the tube and the sweets provided me with enough energy to survive the train journey home. Yummy.

Inside the goody bag was a bright statement necklace, white clutch and some sunnies... Just what I need for my holiday this summer! The gorgeous Kylie also snapped some outfit pictures for me so stay tuned for that post coming soon.

DeleteI am so excited by Next at the moment. Not only have I seen their amazing homeware stuff on all of the blogs I love lately, but when I went in to buy one of the lamps I'd seen and couldn't live without (the bobbins one to go on my sewing desk) I saw a lot of other homeware, as well as SO MANY items of clothing I really, really like!
