WAY Bristol - Urban Clothing Store!

Monday 11 March 2013

Last Saturday I was invited to visit WAY, an exciting new urban clothing store on Gloucester Road! If you aren't familiar with Bristol, Gloucester Road is the cool part of town that has lots of independent boutiques and cafés/bars.

WAY (We Are Young) is the latest addition to this trendy hotspot, stocking some of the most stylish brands from across the globe. Everything is handpicked by beautiful owner Dagmara, and they sell clothes and accessories by designers such as Mr Gugu and Miss Go, Local Heroes, Staff by Maff, Alice Takes a Trip and more!

As you can probably tell from these snaps, this shop is a fashion blogger's dream. My eyes were instantly drawn to the Black Milk-esque leggings and I was really impressed by the quality of the galaxy ones. They didn't feel much different to the Black Milk ones but were a lot cheaper! I then spotted a bunch of Local Heroes... *SWOON*

I first discovered this brand last summer on a Polish fashion blog and since then it's been snapped on celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne! It's pretty affordable and is becoming more and more successful, it's definitely a brand to watch out for. Even Rihanna owns some (which she's yet to be photographed in) and we all know that girl's got style.

Local Heroes is usually only available online (it's Polish) so I love being able to try it on in WAY, ordering from overseas can be such a pain if you're unsure of sizing.

As well as awesome clothes, bad ass beanies and backpacks, they also have a pretty nifty selection of jewellery including pieces by brands such as Regal Rose and Chelsea Doll. Owner Dagmara has an amazing personal style which is why everything is so rad. It's refreshing to walk into a store in Bristol and spot new designers you've never heard of before! As much as I like the UK high street, it can be a bit same old same old.

Mr Gugu and Miss Go Pug sweater.

Jade recently featured Mr Gugu and Miss Go in a wishlist post, digital printing is becoming really popular and we just love the quirkiness of this brand! This Pug sweater is definitely my favourite - it's a pug life.

If you live in Bristol or nearby, I would definitely recommend heading to WAY, especially if you're into urban clothing and love a bit of 90's grunge. They've only been open for just over a week but they've had a really good response and I'm sure they'll continue to do really well. Tomorrow I'll be featuring my new Local Heroes tee from WAY in an outfit post, so stay tuned for that. ;)

WAY can be found at 67a Gloucester Road, Bristol BS7 8AD. For more info check out their Twitter and Facebook page.

T - Huge thanks to WAY for being so sweet, I'll be back soon to splurge! XoX
