Sister Prince Twisted & Tangoed All Day Long, It Was Just Madden I Tell You!

I had no clue what to call this post so I called it that. We're all mad here, don't fret it ;)

This weekend I just really wanted to wear my shibby new biker boots from Steve Madden at Dune, £85. I've been a Steve Madden fan for years and used to order online from US stockists, with the odd rare find in TK Maxx, but now Dune are stocking the brand over here so it's all good! Anyhoo, I chose these because since I got my gold studded pair I feel like I can't wear my silver embellished clothes for fear of metal clash, so these bad boys are perfect for when I'm feeling more silver dollar than golden girl. And with that, here's the outfit!

I'm loving the boots with my new dip hem Twist & Tango maxi, it's cut from a super flattering silky material that just skims my curves. I usually find long skirts swamp me and make me feel a tad heifer-y but this one makes me feel tall and thin - hurrah!

The boots - hello lavahhhhhhhsssss! Every pair of Steve Madden's I've ever had, whether platform heels or chunky boots, have been ridiculously comfortable. Maybe they're just made for me I don't know but there's nothing nicer than not having to break new shoes in! 

I love the studding, and I'm getting very particular about my studs these days now they're on EVERYTHING. It's just the right amount, not too in your face but still awesome, and obvio the quality is top notch. No tell tale cheap off pattern positioning here! 

The tee is my second piece from cool LA onliner's Dimepiece, the Virgin Mary P Tee $28, and I had to have it as soon as I saw it. It has Prince on it, dressed as a nun. I don't think I have to continue do I?

Excuse my chest, Prince spies you with his little eye through my Viv orb! You might notice that my nails have a grey tinge to them, it's my new fave Ilamasqua Raindrops polish. I use one coat so it keeps it's jelly finish and it's too cool for school. The rings I've had for a while now, the owl is from Ji Ji Kiki and the Happily Ever After ring is from Cheap Frills :)

And that was what I wore today. We went to a local shopping mall to have a mooch, I got a skirt from H&M and BF got The Devil's Double bluray in poor HMV for like, £4 - sad to see them closing down but um, yey for cheap Dominic Cooper - RAWR ;)
