Recently we were invited by our friends at The Dressing Room to take part in their Denim Dedication month! As a self-confessed denimaholic, I was overjoyed when the girls asked me to style & review some Hudson Jeans for them.
LA-based Hudson Jeans is my favourite premium denim brand. Every pair of jeans I own from them fit really well and are super comfy. I was sent 4 pairs of jeans to style and I was allowed to keep my favourite pair! In today's post I'll be featuring 3 of the pairs I received.
Outfit 1
Hudson Jeans: Nico Mid Rise Skinny Jean in Pont (£215)
Shirt: Equipment
Clutch: Accessorize (comes without the embellishment)
Shoes: Rockport
Bracelets: From Fiji & Peru
Ring: Forever 21
The Nico style has a really lovely fit and since I already own some Nico jeans in Soft Teal, I knew these ones would fit like a glove. I find Hudson Jeans have just the right amount of stretch in them. Occasionally I find that jeans can either be too low or too tight on my tushie but Hudson always gives my booty enough room. There's nothing worse than a pair of jeans that flattens your junk! Pont is a nice dark denim colour which is perfect for wearing with brights.
I chose to pair these jeans with my hot pink Equipment shirt (which I want in every colour), a one-off embellished clutch from Accessorize, some bracelets I picked up while travelling and these Rockport heels. I think this hot pink shirt and neon yellow clutch work really well with the dark denim.
Outfit 2
Hudson Jeans: Collin Signature Skinny Jean in Stockport Navy (£199) c/o The Dressing Room
Vest: All Saints
Leather Jacket: Hide Label
Hat: H&M
Necklaces: Blue Bayer NYC & crystal necklace from Argentina
Bracelets: Topshop, ChloBo & New Look
Sneakers: Matalan
Rings: Snake ring c/o WAY Bristol & other from Earth Bristol
Bag: Bracher Emden Laser Zip Clutch
These jeans are unbelievably comfy. The Collin's must be made from the softest denim because I'd definitely be able to fall asleep wearing these. Again they have a really nice fit and the gorgeous dark denim is perfect for wearing all year round. They'll keep me cool in the summer but most importantly I'll be 100% comfortable, they've tricked my body into thinking I'm wearing sweat pants! Since they're my favourite, I've decided to keep them. Eeep!
This type of outfit is what you'll find me wearing day in and day out. I love graphic tees and vests, especially slightly gothic ones with skulls on! I wear leather all year round and nothing works better with a pair of jeans than a leather jacket. These bracelets are my favourite to stack and my incredible lamb leather clutch is from Bracher Emden, a luxury British accessories label. I can't wait to use this bag in the summer.
Outfit 3
Hudson Jeans: Nico Midrise Skinny Jean in Wedge Wood (£189)
Jacket: c/o Glamorous
Vest: H&M
Nude pumps: New Look
Necklace: Topshop
Bracelet: c/o Jon Richard
Ring: Accessorize
Bag: Tamora Clutch by Rianna Phillips
Nico's again, this time in the delicious Wedge Wood. I have to admit I was torn between picking these and the Collin's above. This bright blue is perfect for spring/summer and I love how it looks with one of my favourite colours of the season, mint! I'm a huge fan of coloured denim and I like to make a statement. I think I'm going to save up for these ones because my heart broke a little when I had to send them back.
I really wanted to keep this outfit bright and spring-like. This mint blazer works well with the jeans and I think a coral or pink blazer would look equally as good. My beautiful clutch is by Rianna Phillips who sells really cool digital print pieces.
My 4th and final outfit will be featured on the The Dressing Room's blog so be sure to keep an eye out! I'm wearing the boldest of all the SS13 styles along with one of my favourite vintage Wildfox tees.
I know from experience that The Dressing Room has incredible customer service so if you are thinking of taking the plunge and buying premium denim, you'll be in good hands. Make sure you choose Hudson! ;)
Which outfit is your favourite?
These look lovely i find it so difficult to get jean to fit right as they're always to big in the waist to tight around the bum and to short in length! I'll have go try a pair of these on!

Definitely give Hudson's ago, I actually suffer from the same issues except maybe the length! ;) xo
DeleteI actually only own one pair of jeans, since I always struggle so much to get them to fit me - my legs are really short! These look lovely however, I love the colour the ones in outfit 3 : )

I used to think the same thing so I'd never buy anything designer, then I realised over a few months I'd spend the same amount of money on a bunch of small things I didn't really want! So I changed my ways...Quality over quantity ;) x
