Black Milk, Leather and Ripped Denim - Rockstar Royalty!

If I were a celebrity, I wouldn't be an actress or a socialite, I would be a rockstar. DUH. So when I was challenged to transform an old pair of shoes into an award ceremony worthy pair, I knew the look I was going for...

Gwen Stefani would be proud that I didn't walk the imaginary red carpet in a basic ball gown. I was sent a bling-kit and a voucher for ASOS to celebrate the launch of the Ladbrokes  Diamond Slot Game. My task was to create a glamorous look and I opted for rockstar glamour. Although I was tempted to bedazzle a pair of Dr. Martens, I decided to work my magic on some old shoe boots using Swarvoski crystals. You can see them up close here:

HUZZAH! What do you think of my outfit and upcycling skills!? My initial plan was to cover the heels completely but it's such a slow and fiddly process that I didn't stand a chance. I'm quite chuffed with the results!

    Waah! I love that bodysuit & you've just reminded me how much I wanted it a few months ago! The shoes turned out perfectly, I don't think I'd have the patience to sit & do something so fiddly. I also love that you didn't cover the whole heel, the lines of them look so much more interesting! :)

    Great idea I plan to do something similar with my heels to make them funky as I have huge feet & find it hard to get a good range of shoe fashion so I have to do it myself.
