31 Day Fashion Blogger Challenge - Day 14 - The Item That Was The Hardest To Find ...

Monday 14 May 2012

Leopard print has always been my fashion life, and for years I dreamt of leopard track bottoms (this was before the days of printed sweats actually catching on!), so when on my usual Ebay trawl for L.A.M.B. I saw these I think I quite literally fell off the bed. They were a one off sample from the wardrobe of a L.A.M.B. designer and had never been produced, I had hit Gwen gold.

So they arrived, and I stared at them for 2 years and never wore them, the pic above is something I took on my phone as soon as they landed. I eventually sold them on to a fellow L.A.M.B. lover. What happened?! I'll tell you what happened - I got buyers remorse once I tried them on. I couldn't make them work, I wasn't Blanche Devereaux enough for leopard print nylon leisurewear. Turns out there is a fine line between Harajuku Girl and Golden Girl. TUT! ;)

J - Never knowingly beaten by anything since.

  1. They are cool, but yes I wouldn't have a clue what to wear them with! You made the right choice letting them go, a difficult one but the right one!
