Yeah I want some JC/DC from JC de CASTELBAJAC!

Saturday 20 November 2010

I adore the rock and roll, fun but super chic world of JC de CASTELBAJAC. You may have seen our 'If We Were All Rich Girls' pick, the Bambi Coat, and yes for a lot of us £650 is totally out of our price range but JC de CASTELBAJAC's diffusion line JC/DC is just as covetable and totally affordable. Ish ;)

On the new AW10 line 'Holly Boys and Naughty Girls', JCDC says, ”I discovered South Park and Nirvana at the same time; I would mute my TV to play “Smells Like Teen Spirit” loudly. The fusion of the two made perfect sense for me! My JC/DC line is about rock and roll; and South Park with its characters, its colourful range, its brutality and its noisy drawing seemed to encapsulate the world I wanted to portray.” Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

The South Park Silk Blouse, £130 is a cute silk blouse, but with a double taking lace South Park pattern at the hem! Look closely and there..you see? Yeah, screw you guys! I'm going home. Matching Satin Skirt, £105.

I love this one, the Kenny Sweater Dress, £140. The sequinned hood slays me!

Printed leggings are still huge and you don't get much louder than these! Multi Faced South Park Leggings, £75.

Okay, so rocking Cartman et al isn't for everybody but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on JC/DC!

Another favourite of mine is the Wolf Jumper, £163. Love the huge graphic and batwing sleeves!

How cute are these Popgoth Shorts, £98? The little bone shaped buttons are a fun touch.

JC de CASTALBAJAC and JC/DC are both available from ASOS and JC/DC has it's own online store (which is a treat!) so go check it out if this is your bag of Cheesy Poofs ;)
