Call Me Superman Baby, I'm Looking For A Cape...

I want a cape! I ideally want the GORGEOUS Chloe cape I featured on our main page this week but as I'm not currently a rich girl, I have to settle.

I first fell in love with capes when Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. Fall 2005 Collection dropped (the best LAMB collection EVER).

Cooper & Stollbrand for ASOS Checked Cape, £200- ASOS.

I absolutely adore this. If I wore it, I think I'd say "It's elementary Dear Watson!" at least once a day. Too cool.

Emory Cape by Alice + Olivia, $495-Shopbop.

Do Alice + Olivia ever get it wrong? The shoulder embellishment adds a modern twist to this classic woollen cape. It even comes with a hood? YUM.

Boxy Piped Cardi, £55- Warehouse.

Oh how I wish this was longer! It's a mini cardi cape. It's gorgeous and ridiculously affordable. I'm definitely buying it.

Military Cape, £75- Warehouse.

ATTENTION! I've seen this in store and it's super cute. Classic & smart, guaranteed to remain in style.

Zip detail cape, £65- Warehouse.

Perfect for Autumn, I'm not sure if this would keep you warm in the chilly British winter though! I'm a HUGE khaki fan & I think the zip-up arm holes are a funky little detail.


Candy, £195- Reiss.

Quick! Hide this from J. The perfect rockstar cape. Quilt stitch detail on the front with an asymmetrical zip. I'm in love. Perhaps this cape was made for us!?


Duffle Cape, £75- Oasis.

Duffle coats always make me think of Paddington Bear. Another classic black cape but this time with a detachable hood, allowing you to change your look slightly. Smart yet still cute!

Hmmm, so after discovering all of these gorgeous capes, I'm now finding it tricky to pick a favourite!? I do quite fancy the thought of pretending to be Sherlock Holmes...But I do wish I was a rockstar. Thoughts!?
