Introducing Bita Pourtavoosi Jewellery!

We like nothing more than hot new things here, especially when it comes in the form of a shiny sparkler (magpies!) so I was super excited to discover Bita Pourtavoosi jewellery designs!

Bita is influenced by ancient Egypt and the Middle East, and creates her very distinctive, fashion forward line using semi precious stones and metals which sounds so LUXE, but I am pleased to say that the pieces are still super affordable! She currently distributes direct from her Etsy store, and via a few small US boutiques such as Shop Rumor, but the line certainly wouldn't look out of place on Shopbop's books alongside the likes of Jules Smith, Gorjana and Alexis Bittar! Here are a few of my stand-out pieces......

The Single Pyramid Ring $30, an on trend oversized statement ring available plated in gold, pink gold or gun metal - my personal favourite (being a gold pyramid junkie!). If this isn't statement enough for you, why not go Gaga and double up with the Double Pyramid Ring $55?!



I am pretty much in love with these Hammered Bangles at $16 each! You can also get a Hammered Stackable Ring Band and at just $13 each you can afford to stack 'em both high!



This Multi Pyramid Necklace is a steal at just $65, big statement WOW necklaces like this usually start in the hundreds of $$$!


I also LOVE the couture inspired Metal Patchwork pieces, my favourite being the Metal Patchwork Bracelet , a $45 metal cuff with leather patches sewn onto it with silk string. You can mix and match the metals and leather colours as you like, which is a sweet touch, and there are earrings, a ring and a necklace to match :)


Finally, anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for bits with my name or initials on, so I had to show you the Initial Engraved Necklace, $60. It's not your usual dinky initial pendant, nope, this one would tell THE WORLD that I am J, yey!
