As a firm devotee of another rather obvious make-up brush brand, I was intrigued when Blank Canvas Cosmetics got in touch to see if I fancied trying one of their top rated tools. The Blank Canvas F22 HD Dome Face Brush in Metallic Purple is £11.85, handmade, vegan and 100% cruelty free. The high quality synthetic fibre brush hairs are easy to clean and suitable for applying both liquid and powder cosmetics. In comparison to that other brand I mentioned earlier, the brush hairs do seem longer, softer and more dense, but I have only used it on powders, namely highlighters, because I've just got two new beauties and I thought they deserved a special brush of their own. And isn't it pretty in lilac? . .
Both the Illamasqua Beyond Powder and NYX Illuminator apply perfectly with a sweep of the F22 brush, and the size of the brush itself is just the right size for catching the edge of my cheekbone and the bridge of my nose, so it's really ticking all the boxes for me.
Having tried this brush I am definitely planning to buy a few more, maybe the Pointed Tip Face Brush and the Brow Finisher. Good stuff!
