I'm heading on holiday in a couple of weeks, so I'm slowly building my Summer holiday wardrobe and trying to decide what to pack! Today's look is probably more appropriate for the UK, I wore it a little while back when the sun was shining and it was warm enough to get my legs out.
Although I definitely believe in paying that little bit more for something unusual, I'm also a fan of shopping for absolute bargains that I can comfortably wear without the fear of ruining them. I'm always dropping food on myself or catching my a hem on a passing door. This beautiful lace double layer dress may look familiar, as Jade styled it last week (while looking hella fierce and rawrsome, as per)! We love wearing the same items in different ways, our styles are completely different and it's always great to show how versatile a piece can be.
I couldn't quite believe the quality of this dress for its price tag, it's really well made and feels fantastic on! I wouldn't blink twice if I saw it in a high street store for £50. My neon duster is everything, I have a massive kimono/duster collection but nothing quite this bright. It looks awesome with jeans but will also double as a cover up with a bikini. Another steal at only £12 (yes, really).
This oversized woven clutch is just the right size for fitting in my bits and bobs and perfect for taking on holiday. It's the most affordable part of my outfit and I'm going to have to hide it from my mum who has been eyeing it up since it arrived... I might even buy her one as it's less than a tenner!
I completed my Summery look with one of my many fedoras, some pretty jewellery, statement nails and these block sandals. I live in block heels, I wear them at least 5 days a week and have them in an array of colours. I tend to buy mine from Next or New Look, but these are only £12 which is crazy! They do run slightly big so keep that in mind if you're a half size like me.
What do you think of this look? Are you a fan of how I styled this pretty white lace dress?
T - My next style challenge? Rockin' Jade's seaside dress!
You look absolutely beautiful, Tara! xx
