The Reverse Bucket List Tag

Saturday 28 February 2015

After reading Kathryn's reverse bucket list post earlier this week, I was inspired to write my own! I'm getting closer to 30 and although I haven't actually written a bucket list, there are still a lot of things I'm hoping to do and a lot of places I want to visit.

The thing is, I think too often we focus on what we want, and don't take the time to be appreciate everything we have and all we've achieved so far. With that being said, I want to introduce 50 things I've done so far! Check out my reverse bucket list.

  6. Wow! Some of those items on your reverse bucket list are truly AWESOME! I wonder whether the average person has even a clue as to what an epic trek it is up the Inca Trail to the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu! The scale of a place like that is hard to comprehend even when a person is right there. I've only seen it in photos (and in the movie "Vibes" with Cyndi Lauper and Jeff Goldblum). To me, climbing an active volcano sounds nuts. Was it in Hawaii by any chance? Standing under a waterfall is awesome too. I wanted to do it but didn't reach the ones I was thinking of. I'd imagine most of them are pretty cold? Caving? Wow again! You're quite an adventurer. I wish there was a video of you collapsing in a fit of hysterical laughter - I'd love to see and hear it!

  7. This is such a lovely idea! It's lovely to look back and see what has already been done instead of looking at what is left to do. You have had such a fulfilling time! So inspirational.

I have always had a bucket list and enjoy ticking things off (and adding things to it) - I love how the list makes me look forward to things and plan things, as well as remind me of all the amazing things I've been able to to already.
