Christmas Gift Ideas! The Book Of Earrings from Handpicked Collection!

I don't know about you, but one of my fave things about Christmas is the abundance of gift guides and catalogues that are suddenly everywhere! I've pretty much seen them all before, but this year a new one from award winning online emporium Handpicked Collection dropped through my door and caused a very loud 'Ooooooooh!' as we all picked out gifts galore. There's so many amazing ideas for the home, family and pets, but I was particularly taken with the Gold Book Of Earrings, £24.95, a rather pretty bit of jewellery storage especially for earrings, the sneakiest and most aloof of all the jewelz!

This luxe pale gold faux leather bound book has four sturdy grey felt 'pages', and is secured with a popper fastening. It holds up to 48 pairs of earrings, keeping them paired up and tangle free. The felt pages harbour tiny ready punched holes, with the middle column featuring a push out section for danglies, hoops or earrings with 'funny backs' as I expertly call them. You do have to be a bit savvy with some styles, for example, I sacrificed a place on the page behind in order to allow my unicorn tails to smush up against something soft rather than another pair of studs but it's a small price to pay for such dressing table amazeballness. Once full, I wasn't convinced that it would close considering the bulkiness but the popper snapped shut without a problem and all of my pretties appeared to be snug and intact inside their new home - hurrah!

I have to say, this was one of the most engrossing things I've done cross-legged with a cup of tea for a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed filling this bad boy up and I would bet my Swarovski's that any fashion girl would feel exactly the same. 

I don't want to sound like a mutha funking fashion blogger princess here, but it's changed the way I jewel up. Instead of rummaging through a tray or box, forgetting half the pairs I have and eventually giving up and going back to the same old gold studs I always wear, I can now take my time and really consider what will look good with an outfit, safe in the knowledge that the correct backs will be on the other side of the pair that I want to wear!

As a Christmas gift idea, I say a massive YES to this! It feels like a good quality product and looks beaut on the dressing table, but is also super practical and ideal for travelling. Perfect for mum, sis, nan, BFF, aunt, cousin, teacher, boss, vet, dentist, male companion who has a lot of piercings . . . basically, if they have manmade holes, they need one of these in their lives!
