Karma Feeling Healing Crystal Bracelet!

Thursday 4 September 2014

Healing crystals have been used for healing for thousands of years. The Egyptians lined their tombs with them, Romans wore them into battle and today you can buy a crystal to help you with almost anything. A friend recently bought another friend a rose quartz pendant, to supposedly bring her love, and I think to some extent we all like to believe in a little magic like this? I know I do! Karma Feeling jewellery is designed to save us the research, simply choose the 6 emotions or ailments that you need help with and they'll make a bracelet tailored to you! I was treated to a sample of my own (a Build Your Own Bracelet is normally £35), so I set to work on righting all my emotional and bodily wrongs straight away!

My chosen beads are:

  • New Jade - Obviously I was drawn to this anyway, but New Jade is actually the stone of emotional balance, making you feel more in control of your life as it corrects mental and emotional imbalance. I thought this would be the perfect base for my bracelet!
  • Green Aventurine - This is the stone of opportunity and is said to be one of the luckiest crystals in existence, bringing the wearer renewed optimism, zest for life and the confidence to move forward. I also noted that it has an anti-inflammatory effect which helps to ease acne. GET ON MY BRACELET!
  • Citrine - A stone of abundance, attracting success and wealth (hellz yeah!). It also promotes creativity and helps the wearer overcome phobias and depression. Physically it is said to assist those suffering with menstrual problems, and hey, we could all do with a bit of that!
  • Lemon Jade - Listed as a really happy and mellow stone, it helps to attract good luck, friendship and aids digestion (I bloat A LOT so this sounds right up my street) - yey! But I'd be lying if I said I didn't just want it because it was Jade again. Ahem.
  • Tiger's Eye - Apparently worn by Roman soldiers going into battle, this stone strengthens determination, focus and patience. I often find myself being a little indecisive and snarky with others, especially when under stress, so I figured I could do with a bit of this. It also heals the reproductive organs, and as my mum suffered terribly with her babymaker, I might as well pre-empt it and gather all the help I can get.
  • Garnet - I was initially attracted to this bead because it's my birthstone, but then I read up on how awesome it is! Basically it activates other crystals and increases their effect whilst clearing negative chakra energy. Physically, Garnet stimulates the metabolism and regenerates the blood, heart and lungs. Last but not least, it's also a stone of commitment, balancing the sex drive and aiding potency - phewee! ;)
And with all that, here is the finished product - ta daaaaaaa! Isn't it a beauty?

Bracelet - c/o Karma Feeling

I just LOVE it. I've been wearing it for about 2 weeks now and I can report an improvement in my pores, a less painful crimson wave surfing session, decreased bloating and even a little more luck in my life lately! Bizarre, especially the menstruation and bloating detail because I have been suffering badly with both over the last 2 months or so.

I chose a size Small, and on taking delivery soon realised that it doesn't stretch which was a little scary at first, but it just rolled over my hand and onto my wrist. I'd be wary if you have larger paws though, might be worth sizing up. It's weighty and really beautiful quality, I find myself just staring at it and playing with the beads between my fingertips when I'm having a quiet moment to myself. I'm definitely falling for this healing crystal lark!

Karma Feeling healing crystal bracelet

I like that you can quickly build a Prescription bracelet by just entering the feelings or emotions you want to assist or go a little more in depth like I did and read up on the 'Crystals and their meanings' page because I also wanted to make sure my colours kept to a green palette.

I do think that a Karma Feeling bracelet would make an amazing gift for someone, whether they are spiritual or a bit of a fashionista looking for something quirky, everyone can benefit from these pretty stones whether you believe in their healing abilities or not. Personally, I am a believer. A lucky charm or a personal talisman can bring you the confidence to succeed or comfort in a difficult situation, and sometimes you just gotta have faith-a-faith-a-faith-ahhhhh!

  2. I just loved this post and have a few bracelets of my own in Rose Quartz and a Chakra crystal bracelet set that also comes with a necklace. I love crystals and when wearing them they do make you feel more up beat and I do believe they help heal problem areas. I have a few clear quartz chokers and these are great for communication and healing <3 I find them very pretty to look at but they also serve a great purpose. They do make excellent essential pieces to have in your jewellery collection, and I will definitely be getting one of these, I also like how you mentioned it helped with pores and bloating as I find this very interesting, and its great to see such a positive outcome from wearing it, I will definitely be bookmarking this and it would also make a great gift for Christmas time xx

In reply to your question on my Alchemy Grapefruit Oil Post: I would definitely recommend Macadamia Oil compared to this oil, however I have not tried Moroccan oil yet!! But I think both Moroccan and Macadamia Oil would be very similar, as they don't leave your hair greasy but I feel the grapefruit oil does xx

  5. I don't know if I believe in the healin power of crystals - I studdied biology at uni and did 3 years as a research scientist, so my brain has switched to believing things only if they have reputable studies behind them. So maybe I should get a bracelet and do a little science of my own :) And if it doesn't work, at least the bracelet is really pretty :)

    1. Haha! I love this because I'm usually the same, SCIENCE BITCH! It may be the comfort of having an idea immortalised literally into stone that you can see and feel, who knows. I'm surprised that this sort of thobg hasn't been researched more tbh, when you consider how much money the industry must make! Either way, I'm not bloating and my spots have calmed down a lot so yey! ;)

  7. I've got one of these bracelets and I was very sceptical - but I've noticed I'm a lot calmer and much more 'centred' and happy when wearing it. You're so right though, they're unbelievably beautiful in real life and I too constantly play with it. I wore a short sleeve top today and so many mums on the playground mentioned it
