Rawrgirls Review . . . China Glaze Fade Into Hue and Glitter Up at nailpolish.co.uk!

Saturday 7 June 2014

China Glaze is my second fave nail polish brand, but it's so darn hard to get hold of at times, so hurrah for the latest stockist nailpolish.co.uk! They stock over 350 different nail polish from China Glaze, Barry M, Essie, Tanya Burr, Invogue, Rimmel and Sally Hansen, plus there's free delivery on every order.

I was asked to choose 2 colours for review purposes so I went straight for China Glaze and picked out Fade Into Hue (a beautiful Wedgewood lilac blue) and Glitter Up (a blue, purple and pink hexagonal glitter) to compliment it. Both are £4.35 each, which is a good price for the brand.

The China Glaze formulation is always spot on; dense, creamy and quick drying. Fade Into Hue took 3 thin coats to hit opacity and dries to a gorgeous rich pastel lilac blue. I don't have a colour like this in my vast polish collection, so I'm loving this one!

I chose Glitter Up to compliment Fade Into Hue, with the intention of either putting one coat over it or layering it on an accent nail. I ended up going with the accent nail because the blue is too pretty to hide! This is actually my first China Glaze glitter polish and I'm impressed! This is 3 quick coats (you know glitters take like, 2 secs to dry!) and it picks up quite a lot of glitter with each dip. I'm often so disappointed in expensive glitters, such as OPI for example, because you have to really fish for a decent spread but Glitter Up was as effortless as 3 coats can be! The colours are crazy cute too.

I'm super happy with my picks, and I'll definitely be back to nailpolish.co.uk for my next China Glaze purchase, the prices are really good (Essie is £7.99) and delivery was free and fast. You can never have too much of a good thing, give me ALL the polish!

  1. I love the Glitter Up polish, it's really pretty! I never paint my nails really and I barely own any nail varnishes but I should really pick up a glittery one! xxx
