Women Be Shoppin' With bwin.com!

Thursday 3 April 2014

My man loves football as much as I love fashion. Basically, if he finds it on TV, he watches it and he plays 2 or 3 times a week too, so this is true love. And what do I do while all this is going on? Well, I occupy myself with blogging, catching up on my fave shows, online shopping, online shopping, online shopping . . . so when bwin.com offered to treat me to something pretty from ASOS for my long term understanding of the love between a man and the beautiful game I simply couldn't refuse - I've earned it!

I'd had my eye on a new leather jacket for a while, so while he was playing Tuesday night 5 a side, I had a good browse on ASOS and picked out a yummy Pull & Bear number, with a whopping 30% off it was only £69.99 so I was all smiles when he got home! Anyway, it arrived in no time and I LOVE it! Just in time to get some outfit snaps while Everton were playing . . .

Outfit: Jacket - Pull & Bear at ASOS c/o bwin.com, Top - Wildfox, Jeans - Charley 5.0, Cap - Dr Martens, Shoes - Vans, Bag - H&M, Necklaces - c/o Sugar & Vice.

Close up of my Sugar & Vice gem necklaces (£7 each), they shine too bright like a diamond in far away shots so I had to do a close up so you can see how cool they are :)

And the shoes are my new Vans. Yep they have cats on them kids. Standard really ;)

As most women in my um, situation, can vouch for, every now and again it's important to enjoy spending time with yourself while he's getting his fix! Whether it's sprawling out in bed with a magazine while he's monopolising the downstairs TV, sinking into a Lush bath while he's at 5 a side until 10pm at night (I know) or seeing friends and going shopping while he's at the match, it will stop resentment setting in and you'll both be happier for it! I love my new jacket, it's absolutely perfect and a permanent reminder that there is life after MOTD, plus he missed out on a real life Saturday shopping trip which always invariably means a treat from the American candy store for him - unlucky!

Bwin.com have found a way to keep us both entertained - while he checks the football form and places his bets, I'm winning all the way with some me-time and if he wins, maybe a post match takeaway treat! Hang on in there girls, we're nearly there!

  1. Honestly, I quite like having time to myself, particularly to shop, so I'm quite a fan of shopping alone. I also have no interest in football, so quite happy to leave him in front of the TV!

    1. Shopping alone I can deal with, but when you have to arrange your couple socialising nights or weekends around his 5 a side schedule or whether a certain team is playing another certain team it gets a little taxing. I've learnt to live with it though, you wouldn't believe the amount of hobbies I've taken up and dropped over ten years! ;)

  2. Ohh lovely outfit Jade, gorgeous jacket! So much love for all your cat-related apparel! <3
My boy isn't that much of a football guy but all his housemates are. I quite like having time to myself to do all the girlie stuff - and to catch up with blogging - but I gotta say I'm glad he's not a MOTD obsessive! xxx

  5. Loving the Jacket, it's a right winner!
My bf doesn't like football, which is a win for me, but he hates lie-ins, so I have to enjoy those weekend lie-ins on my own, however starfishing across the whole bed eases my pain :)

  9. What a fantastic idea, love it!

My boyfriend is an avid Spurs supporter but at the same time if a match isn't on he's always quite good at realising when I need my own space too (be it with Heat magazine, a Girls box set of doing a spot of blogging) so it works well in that respect.

A post match takeaway treat sounds like the best idea ;-)

  14. OMG, I LOVE your Van's sneakers with the cats on them!!! They are soooo adorable and pretty too - and I'm not one who usually raves about footwear. They're great! Your Sugar and Vice gem necklaces are pretty and I like your Widfox top too.
