Rawrgirls Review . . . Kapello Clip In Hair Extensions!

Since I cut my my waist length hair off years ago I've strived to get it back, pushing hard like a Playdoh machine to make it grow faster, but we all know that doesn't work, only time does right?! Right . . . unless you invest in some clip in hair extensions!

This time around I've been trying a set out from Kapello Hair, founded in 2009 by hair industry experts with a goal to source human hair ethically whilst keeping extensions affordable. Kapello also offers application training courses and aftercare advice, so you can rest assured that they can answer any questions you might have before you drop your dollar on the product.

I was sent the Dark Coffee Brown 18 inch European Hair Straight Clip In Extensions pack (normally £139.90). Take a look! The result is SUPER natural. I mean, okay, so my hair is pretty long anyway but in terms of blend and colour match this is pretty amazing! 

Extensions c/o Kapello Hair

For this look I am only wearing 2 pieces of the 5 piece set. You get 3 x 4 clip pieces (18", 16" and 14" lengths) plus 2 x 2 clip pieces (2" width but full 18" length). I used the 18" and 16" length pieces to add density to my long but not exactly thick locks. Even with my hair pulled up at the sides like this you can't see the clips at the sides, and there are 2 sets there!

I also love the mixture of 3 different colours that make up the Dark Coffee Brown colour. It just adds to the natural look. I have a lot of red in my hair so flat dark brown extensions often look a bit obvious whereas these just look like my own hair! I literally can't tell where my own hair begins looking at this photo, and I've added a good inch or two to my own length. 

I'm looking forward to curling them and really going to town with more pieces, practice makes perfect but they were so easy to use :) Check out this quick video, once you have the knack of the application it really can take 2 minutes to get a completely different look.

Some people might balk at the price but when it comes to real hair extensions like these you really do get what you pay for, simple as that. Kapello advise that real hair clip in extensions like these can last for 6-12 months depending on usage so it's important to look after your investment. I think we've all seen chicks who spent more on their bar tab that night than the hair on their head. Mmmhm ;)
